Back at Matthew's residence, he found him coaxing Ariya to sleep. He gestured for Matthew to step outside to talk.

"Matteo, you've already helped us countless times, but please, do us this one last favor—save Mr. Donald! The young lady just returned to us. We cannot lose Mr. Donald now. Miss Ariya cannot lose her father again!" Ryan's face was full of desperation, his voice almost pleading.

"I don't yet know the extent of Ronny's injuries. I can't promise I can heal him." Matthew didn't give his word right away.

First, because he couldn't guarantee success without diagnosing Ronny himself. Second, because he still bore Luna Theraleo's request—to uncover Ronny's true nature.

If Ronny truly deserved death, saving him would mean saving the wrong man.

"Please, Matteo. Come with me—I'm begging you."

Under Ryan's earnest plea, Matthew finally agreed to go to the private hospital. When he examined Ronny, he quickly understood his condition and dismissed the surrounding doctors.

He first used silver needles to temporarily seal the bleeding wounds, then fed him a twelfth of a mini Rejuvenating Pill. It wasn't a cure, only a way to stabilize him, restore a bit of vitality, and pull him back to consciousness.

Moments later, Ronny's eyes fluttered open, weak and unfocused. "Who are you? Where's Ryan…" he asked faintly.

At that, guilt washed over Ronny's face. "I swear, I didn't know. That passage… the one only her father and I knew—it had already been compromised."

Matthew gave no response, only continued. "Despite his injuries, Luna's father fought with everything he had, cutting down the ambushers lying in wait above the tunnel.

"He still believed it wasn't your doing. He rushed toward your territory, certain that once they reached your domain, his family would be safe. But on the way, those masked men caught up again.

"To give her husband and daughters a chance to escape, Luna's mother turned back and drew away most of the pursuers alone."

Ronny's brow furrowed deeply, his eyes blazing with anger.
