Guardian, however, had no patience for the other two.

He cut them off bluntly in front of Ronny, saying, "Can't you two be more ambitious? Mr. Larden has helped us out plenty of times! We owe him more than we can ever repay!

"This time, there's no need for him to act. We can handle the Seranias ourselves."

"Guardian is right," Ronny agreed firmly.

"We can't rely on Mr. Larden forever. His kindness is already beyond measure. The Seranias aren't even worthy of his attention!"

He immediately ordered, "Begin military training in secret, and stockpile our arsenal. Remember, everything must be done quietly. Not a word of this is to be leaked!"

The three stewards acknowledged Ronny's command and hurried off to put their plan in action.

Three days later, the Seranias' spies returned from Ronny's territory.

"Commander Leon, we found no unusual activity between Districts 1 to 10. The hospital is still in search of a miracle doctor, and it seems like Ronny's condition has worsened.
