Miracle Cutie (Amelia and Benjamin) novel Chapter 141

Chapter 141 Morning Negotiations

Benjamin immediately switched into getting-her-dressed mode.

Seeing that he didn’t mention tattling anymore, Nina straightened her back with confidence.

She thought she was safe. But too early.

“Daddy, no shoe.”

Feeling bold again, she got mouthy in front of Benjamin

He changed her into a little dress, but she refused to wear shoes.

She kicked her soft, chubby feet and giggled, refusing to let Benjamin hold them.

He shot her a look and said calmly, “If you don’t wear shoes, you’re not going out to play.”

Nina’s laugh died instantly.

Her lips quivered as she obediently let him grab her foo and put on her sandals.

The new sandals originally had little glowing wings, but Nina had torn them off after wearing them once.

Her tiny hands loved pulling things apart.

After putting on her shoes, Benjamin didn’t take her out yet. He washed her face and hands first.

“Daddy, no wash face.”

Nina didn’t want her face washed today either.

Benjamin, who had a strong sense of cleanliness, absolutely refused to let his daughter be grubby.

He grabbed a wet towel and wiped her whole face in one go, just like Amelia did.

It looked exactly like wiping down a table.

Nina yelled, “No, no!”

She protested loudly, but her face ended up clean anyway.

She was too small, and Benjamin was too strong. She couldn’t resist.

He spent the entire morning taking care of the early-rising Nina.

When William and Amelia finally got up, washed, and came to the dining room, the family gathered.

William glanced around, didn’t see Daniel, and asked, “Where’s Daniel? Still not up?”

He frowned, ready to criticize Daniel first thing in the morning.

The housekeeper replied with a smile, “Daniel got up early. He went out at five.”

William snapped, “That’s not getting up early. That means he didn’t sleep at all!”

He glanced at Benjamin feeding Nina and thought Benj min seemed like a completely different person

now that he had Amelia and Nina.

Benjamin had a wife and daughter now.

Daniel, that troublemaker, still had nothing. Every day, he just messed around.

William sighed and, feeling helpless, said to Benjamin, You need to keep an eye on your brother when you

have time. At least make him work a job. I’ve talked to him so many times.”

Benjamin responded casually, still feeding Nina without pausing.

Chapter 142 Breakfast Lessons

Although Nina loved to eat, sometimes her morning appetite wasn’t great.

Today, having woken up too early, she had even less interest in food.

Benjamin had been feeding her for over half an hour, yet he’d only managed a fifth of the oatmeal into her mouth, and just a few bites of a waffle.

It wasn’t that Nina didn’t want to eat.

She simply held food in her mouth while her chubby hands played with toys, tapped the table, fiddled with her little sandals-basically moving everything but her mouth.

After half an hour of feeding, Benjamin had lost his own appetite.

On the outside, he looked calm, but his mind had drifted off for a while.

The moment Amelia entered the dining room, Benjamin, still holding the bowl, lifted his gaze and fixed it on her, saying flatly, “Nina came to my room at six this morning. She hit me.

“I’ve been feeding her for forty-eight minutes. She ate five bites of the oatmeal, three of the waffle, and the third one has been in her mouth for five minutes.

“I don’t understand why she just won’t chew.”

Amelia glanced at Nina helplessly.

William, hearing that Nina had hit someone and was still refusing to eat, glanced at Amelia… and immediately knew he couldn’t intervene. He sighed in frustration and quickly turned away.

If he stayed, he knew he’d feel bad when Nina later cried for him.

Once William left, only the three of them remained in the dining room.

Nina, who had just taken off her little sandals while sitting in the high chair, stared blankly at Benjamin as he suddenly tattled.

Her chubby face froze-she had no time to react!

Amelia didn’t immediately look at Nina; she was still waching Benjamin.

She noticed the tight strain on his handsome face, the quiet look of being wronged.

That small grievance looked totally out of place on Benjamin-so different from his usual composure that it made her feel soft.

Almost instinctively, she reached out and grabbed Benjamin’s sleeve.

“Benjamin, don’t feel wronged. I’ll handle her.”

Her soft, gentle voice reached Benjamin, instantly easing the tension and frustration he’d been feeling.

At the same time, Nina heard Amelia’s gentle voice. Her little face tightened, and the sandals in her hands slipped to the floor.
