Miracle Cutie (Amelia and Benjamin) novel Chapter 214

Chapter 214 Don’t Cry

“I’m not lying-I really am Mia. I’ve grown up, but… can you still love me like this?”

Amelia kept asking, unsure if Jane would like her appearance now.

Her question got no answer.

Jane didn’t reply. She just hugged her tightly.

“Mia… My Mia! My baby… you’re back with Mommy! Mommy missed you so much. I missed you until I couldn’t live anymore.”

Jane’s trembling voice gradually turned into sobs.

In the end, she broke down completely and cried hard.

Jane and Amelia cried together, while Nina-still in Janes arms-got squished between them.

Uncomfortable from the squish, she cried a couple of times, too.

But her cries were too small, drowned out by Amelia and Jane.

Nina scrunched her mouth and opened her eyes.

As soon as she did, she pushed at Amelia and Jane.

“Nina stuck,” Nina tried to remind them.

Freya saw Nina struggling and reached out to rescue he “Nina, come here. I’ll hold you.”

How Freya felt holding Nina had changed.

Before, when she held Nina, she thought Nina was just someone else’s cute baby.

She liked her, but beyond that, no extra emotions.

Now, knowing Amelia was her sister, Freya saw Nina differently.

This was the Nina her Mia had given birth to her own niece, a little baby connected by blood.

The more Freya looked at Nina, the more she thought this was simply the best baby in the world.

Then she suddenly remembered-there was Barry at home too. He was a good baby as well.

Freya kept holding Nina, but Nina had just woken up. She hadn’t slept enough and was very picky about who held her.

“Mommy hug!” Nina reached her chubby hands for Amelia.

She wanted Amelia to hold her.

Amid Nina’s near-teary demands, Amelia stopped her tears. She pulled away from Jane and took Nina into

her arms.

Once in Amelia’s arms, Nina first flopped onto her shoulder and dozed a bit with her eyes closed.

After dozing, her little head cleared completely.

“Mommy!”

Nina stood on Amelia’s legs, looking at her face.

She furrowed her brows, chubby hand reaching to touch Amelia’s eyes.

“Why have tears?” she asked.

Nina asked like a little adult, using her growing vocabulary.

This was the first time Amelia heard her say “have tears.

Amelia couldn’t help smiling, “Nina, you learned a new phrase again? You’re so amazing.”

Amelia praised the amazing Nina, then turned her to face Jane.

“Nina, call Grandma. I found my mommy. This is my mommy.”

Amelia sounded a bit shy saying the last part.

But mostly, she felt happy.

No one didn’t want a mom who loved them.

Of course, Amelia craved it too.

And now, she’d got a mom who loved her.

She truly felt fulfilled!

Nina woke from a nap and suddenly had a grandma. Nia was totally confused.

“Mommy, book.”

Nina had never had a grandma before, never interacted with one.

Suddenly having one now, Nina’s first thought was the book.

Amelia once taught Nina “Grandma” from a picture book.

Amelia understood and couldn’t resist kissing Nina’s plump cheek. She patiently explained, “No need for the book. Just call Grandma. My mommy is your granda. This is Aunt Freya.

“They are our family. Like Un-coo Dan’el and Grandpa

Amelia explained at length, though she wasn’t sure if Niha understood.

Anyway, Nina obediently greeted and even kissed Jane.

“Grandma, no crying!”

Nina noticed Jane crying too.

She grabbed two tissues from the seat and wiped Amelia’s and Jane’s faces.

With Nina bustling about in the car, the once heavy mood lightened right up.

After Nina finished her round of wiping, she plopped onto Amelia’s legs, her chubby little body tilting sideways.

She sighed and said, “I so tired.”

Tired Nina made all the adults laugh.

Their laughter lightened the mood a lot.

Amelia and Nina were taken by Freya to the Wilson Villa.

Jane didn’t want to be apart from her daughter for even a second now. She kept a close eye on Amelia.

“Mia, don’t let me lose sight of you.”

Jane repeated words like that several times.
