Chapter 426 Nina’s Grandma.
Nina shoved Harry to the ground again.
After pushing him over, she gave him a few extra slaps for good measure.
Harry wailed in pain.
His cries prompted all the other kids who were with him to jump into the fight.
Nelson started fighting back against them.
Nina used her little head to butt people and her small hands to slap.
A whole group of children were brawling. While Nina was a bit heavier than the others, she was also younger and much smaller, so she didn’t completely dominate the fight.
To be honest, none of the kids came out of it unscathed.
They were all crying.
Nina sat on top of one of the kids, wailing loudly as she continued hitting.
Nearby adults came over to pull them apart but couldn’t break them up. The kids were all worked up and being stubborn.
Some nannies tried to take sides, but once adults got involved, the scene got even more chaotic.
Just as everything was in turmoil, Anthony-the groom-to-be at today’s engagement party— strode over.
Anthony didn’t know Nina.
He scooped up Harry, who had been getting beaten by Nina, and turned to question her.
“Why did you hit him?” Anthony demanded.
Harry was Anthony’s nephew, his sister’s son. Anthony had always doted on him.
Even though tears streaked Nina’s chubby cheeks, she had undeniably continued fighting right in front of Anthony. This made Anthony instinctively blame her.
Nina had taken a few hits herself.
Now Anthony was yelling at her. Even though she couldn’t understand his words, his tone made
cry even harder.

“He hit!” she sobbed. “Nina no bad!”
Nina had been in plenty of fights, but this one wasn’t her fault.
Harry had touched her hair and looked like he was going to poke her eyes, so she pushed him.
After that, she hadn’t hit him. It was only when Harry got up and tried to hit her that she fought back.
This time, Nina was genuinely wronged.
She bawled, insisting she hadn’t started it.

Nelson, his little face already showing a few scratches, explained in the local language what had happened.
He laid out the whole story.
But Anthony was biased. He favored his precious nephew.
“Harry didn’t mean any harm. He was just curious,” Anthony argued. “You shouldn’t have hit him. Harry is a good boy.”
Anthony was openly taking Harry’s side. Some adults present thought he was being unfair, but after considering Harry’s status and glancing at Nina, they all stayed quiet.
Nina had run off to play as soon as Catherine brought her inside, so not many people knew she was with Catherine.
Everyone here knew Harry, but no one recognized Nina. To them, Nina was just an unfamiliar little girl.
So, nobody spoke up for her.
Frowning at Nina, who had given his nephew a beating, Anthony gave her an ultimatum.
“Whose child are you?” he asked coldly. “Tell your parents to come collect you now. I don’t think this is the right place for you.”
Anthony didn’t know Nina and had no affection for her. To defend and comfort his nephew, he decided to make Nina leave.
Nelson listened to this dismissal, his young face turning stony cold.
“Please find Nina’s grandma for us,” Nelson stated. “We will go home with her.”

Following Anthony’s lead, Nelson started looking for their guardian.
Nina was wronged and surrounded by these unfamiliar adults. Not a single one of them tried to comfort her. Nina was utterly heartbroken.
Tilting her chubby face up, she cried so hard she squeezed her eyes shut.
“Grandma! Want Grandma! Where Grandma?” she wailed between sobs.
To get rid of her, Anthony decided to find this “grandma” right away.

“Who is your grandma?” he asked. “I’ll have someone notify her to pick you up. Do you know her name?”
To his question, Nelson answered for Nina. “Catherine,” he said, his little face tense. “That’s her name. Please tell her.”
The moment Nelson uttered Catherine’s name, the area fell silent.
Anthony was clearly taken aback. “Catherine? Your grandma? That’s impossible,” he protested. “My father and I greeted her when she arrived. She came alone.”
When Anthony had gone to welcome Catherine earlier, he hadn’t seen any child with her.
Anthony still didn’t want to believe it, but over in the exclusive VIP lounge, Catherine had already been briefed on the situation.
She interrupted her conversation with Arthur and stood up to leave.
Arthur was puzzled by her sudden departure. “What’s going on?” he asked.
Catherine didn’t stop walking. She said coolly, “Anthony is expelling my granddaughter. Since we’re clearly not welcome here, I’m taking her home now.”
Arthur was stunned. “What?” he blurted out, utterly confused. He hurried after Catherine, needing more answers.
