Chapter 99 The Man Everyone Wants
Money, power, and looks-he had them all.
With conditions like his, no wonder actresses kept eyeing him.
Even a few actors tried to get close to him whenever they could.
But the man everyone secretly wanted was now in Amelia’s hands.

If this ever got out. Darius didn’t need to think twice to know the trending lists would explode. Plenty of people would lose their minds.
Darius wanted to keep Benjamin around and chat a little longer, but Nina had already run out of patience.
Nina twisted around in Benjamin’s arms.
“Daddy, Mommy go ‘way! Bad guy go ‘way!”
Amelia and Leo were done arguing and had already walked off.
Once Nina saw her mom disappear and the “bad guy” head somewhere else, she didn’t want to stand here listening to Darius anymore.
Seeing her start fussing, Benjamin didn’t stay any longer either.
“Be good. We’re leaving now.”
He soothed Nina, then lifted his eyes for one last glance at Leo before walking away.
Leo caught that final look.
The moment their eyes met, he felt a chill creep down his back.
“What the hell… It’s not even cold today,” he murmured.
A shiver ran down Leo’s spine without warning.
He didn’t recognize Benjamin.
And as he watched Benjamin walk away with Nina in his arms, something in his eyelids started twitching hard. Feeling uneasy, he stood up and headed toward Darius.
Leo asked, “Darius, who was that guy? Do you know him?”
Benjamin looked a little familiar to him.
Then it suddenly hit him-Benjamin had been holding Amelia’s daughter, Nina.
Rubbing his twitching eyelid, Leo honestly wanted to know who that man holding Nina was.
Facing Leo’s barrage of questions, Darius let out a couple of dry laughs.

“You really wanna know?”

Leo replied, “Of course! Tell me already. Who is he? Who did he come here to visit? Is he here for Amelia? What’s his relationship with her?”
Leo’s questions came one after another. Darius only patted his shoulder with a smile.
“Leo, let me give you one last piece of advice. A person should have some conscience and morals.
“And the company too. Don’t push things too far.
“Otherwise, you’ll only end up paying the price.”
Leaving his warning behind, Darius turned and headed back to work on set.
For the rest of today’s shoot, he was determined to give it his all.
He wanted Amelia to shine-massively-in his drama.
Darius’ ambition was in full force, and Amelia, when working, never slacked.
They both trusted each other’s abilities.
On
set,
with Darius looking after things, Amelia filmed smoothly.
Meanwhile, in the car heading toward Morris Villa, Nina was already unhappy with sitting still.
At home, she always loved riding in the car.
Whenever she heard they were going for a drive, she could even ignore cartoons.
But her whole purpose for car rides was going out to play.
If she stayed inside the car too long, she quickly got impatient.
“Daddy, out.”
Nina pointed at the window and repeated the word every few moments.
Benjamin held her chubby little hand and said, “We’ll get out in half an hour.”
The Graham Residence wasn’t far from Morris Villa.
But Benjamin had dropped Amelia off at the set earlier.
That extra detour made today’s route much longer.
During the thirty-minute ride, Benjamin neither turned on the cartoons nor played with toys with Nina.
He picked up a set of number-learning cards he kept in the car and showed them to her.
“Nina, let’s learn some numbers.”
Nina said, “No want.”
