Chapter 176-1

Raven’s POV

My response to Cash’s actions was exactly what he wanted, because the smirk that was on his face grew even larger before he gave me a damn wink. In a way, I was elated to see that he had reformed to his old self at the moment, because it was exactly what I needed right now. But even with his playful side showing itself, I could still see a dominant hunger in his eyes, letting me know that I was in for one, all thanks to my other side.

Biting my bottom lip, I just lay there staring up at Cash, waiting for him to make his next move, as the ball was now in his court. The fire from my heat at that moment began to radiate through every single pore of my flesh just from his gaze, and I tried to keep the feeling like I was about to combust under control, still not wanting him to know how much my heat was affecting me.

It was taking every ounce of self–preservation that I had to not jump his bones, especially knowing that just his mere touch would drown out the pain the fire was causing. I knew if I didn’t refrain from showing him how much my heat was affecting me, then this moment between us might come to a halt, and I didn’t want it to end.

Unfortunately, this other side of mine wanted to come out to play once again, and I questioned whether or not this was a good idea, seeing how my other side had stirred up an undeniable hunger inside of him. There was no doubt by the desire in his eyes right now that he wanted me, but I was honestly scared that this other side of mine might push him a bit too far, drawing out his wolf.

But as I watched Cash’s nostrils at that moment flare, it made me realize that there was no holding my other side back. It was clear that this other side of mine was still in control, and that my body was putting off some kind of animalistic pheromones, which were calling out to Cash’s wolf, resulting in a low growl slipping from his lips.

As heat continued to radiate from my body, carrying these pheromones, the smirk that plagued Cash’s face slowly began to fade away. The darkness of his pupils took completely over, before I watched him lick his lips, as he continued to stare down at me like I was on tonight’s dinner menu, sending a chill throughout my body.

Swallowing hard, I watched Cash slowly lowering his head between my thighs, and my hands that were resting at my sides opened, grasping for something to help steady myself, knowing damn well what was about to come. Just as I felt his warm breath grazing against my overstimulated flesh, my hands tightened into fists around the tussled bedding beneath my body, as I watched him slowly parting my folds.

My now heated, sensitive flesh was completely exposed to the night’s cool air that seeped through the cracked bedroom window, making me gasp once again, as another chill shivered throughout the entirety of my body. But that chill only lasted for a brief second, because before it could make it to my toes, it was in complete reverse. My gasp quickly turned into a moan when I felt the warmth of Cash’s tongue lap one long stroke against my sensitive flesh, sending a jolt of pleasure straight to my core.

Tightening my grip on the bedding, my back arched as my thighs parted on their own accord, giving Cash free rein to do as he pleased with my body. Honestly, I don’t know if it was my unspoken invitation or if it was my moans, but one of them, hell, maybe even both were all that Cash needed to make him continue.

This was plain out a tactful assault on his behalf, and as the moans continued to endlessly flow from my lips, so did his assault on my naked flesh, but his assault didn’t just stop at the surface. Instead, it moved even deeper, as I felt one of his fingers enter me, making my thighs close and tighten around his head, while a new sense of pleasure rushed through my body, further awakening this other side of mine.
