Levi raised a brow, his gaze shifting suggestively between Franklin and Julia. “Oh? So neither of you had time to check your phones?”
Franklin replied calmly. “Is that not allowed?”
Levi was speechless.
Julia couldn’t help laughing beside them.
Seeing Levi grit his teeth, Franklin said, “How about I buy you a drink as an apology?”
“At least two,” Levi said. “One from each of you. Unless you’re planning to drink Julia’s for her.”
“I’ll drink it,” Franklin said.
Harry watched from the side, his gaze falling on Franklin and Julia.
Their relationship seemed as good as ever.
Thinking of that, he couldn’t help thinking of Maggie.
He had heard people mention her the moment he entered the banquet hall and knew she and Johnny were already
here.
But the hall was large and crowded, and he hadn’t seen her yet.
Thinking of Maggie and of his feelings toward her, he lifted his eyes toward Franklin. “Do you have time later? I need to talk to you. Let’s grab a drink afterward.”
Franklin took a sip of his cocktail and smiled. “Tonight?”
“Yeah. After the banquet.”
“Sure.”
Levi overheard and immediately said, “Great, it’s been a while since we all hung out

We have something to discuss.” Harry said
Levi was offended. “What, you two have some private secret you can’t tell me?”
Harry only smiled and didn’t explain. Levi assumed he was joking.
Julia didn’t say anything, but the moment Harry asked Franklin out-and from the look Harry had given him-she already knew exactly what Harry wanted to talk about.
Her smile faded instantly.
