**TITLE: Her Spark Ignites Tonight**
**By J.S. Caldwell**
**Chapter 212**

Georgina stood there, her hands hanging limply at her sides, but inside, a tempest of emotions swirled. Her fists clenched tightly, betraying the tumultuous thoughts racing through her mind. One day, she vowed, she would find her place within the Melendez family, and when that day came, she would ensure this old woman would pay for every slight.

Tabitha, with her sharp eyes and sharper tongue, showed no hint of compassion. “My goal,” she stated flatly, “is to see my son and daughter-in-law divorced. Whether you get to be with my son openly afterward is entirely up to you.”

A laugh, laced with anger, escaped Georgina’s lips. She leapt to her feet, the chair scraping loudly against the floor. “Mrs. Melendez, let’s be clear. You summoned me here; I didn’t come begging for your assistance.”

Tabitha’s expression remained stoic, unaffected by Georgina’s outburst. “I have a method to expedite Jay and Arabella’s divorce,” she replied coolly. “Helping you is simply a matter of whether you’re willing to heed my advice.”

Georgina’s gaze flickered, uncertainty creeping into her heart. She scrutinized Tabitha, her mind racing as she likened her to a cunning old fox, poised and calculating. “And what’s the catch?” she asked, her voice tinged with skepticism. “What do I gain if I choose to listen?”

With a casual wave of her hand, Tabitha replied, “The old man disapproves of you. He also looks down on the fallen heiress of the Palmer family. If Jay and Arabella part ways, you won’t be labeled as the other woman anymore. That’s when your opportunity will arise. If you can persuade my son to welcome you and your child into the Melendez family estate, you will emerge victorious.”

Georgina felt the weight of her options pressing down on her. After a prolonged pause, she sank back into her seat, realizing that listening to this formidable woman might be far more advantageous than making a deal with Arabella. The Melendez family had high expectations for a daughter-in-law, but if Jayceon were to divorce, she would become the prime candidate.

This was a chance she could not afford to let slip away. After battling her thoughts, she finally spoke, “What exactly do you want me to do?”

A smirk danced across Tabitha’s lips, a look that sent shivers down Georgina’s spine. Slowly, she set her spoon down, her demeanor shifting to one of calculated seriousness. “Arabella is now a renowned specialist in sleep disorders, and you have a history of depression that spans over three years.”

Tabitha’s eyes locked onto Georgina’s. “It should be easy for someone with your background to develop severe insomnia after a relapse, wouldn’t you agree?”

Georgina, still piecing the puzzle together, asked, “You want me to seek her out for treatment?”

However, she also needed to gauge Tabitha’s true intentions. With a newfound resolve, Georgina said, “Mrs. Melendez, regardless of the situation, Leandro is still a Melendez. My mother had a minor conflict with my brother and sister-in-law recently, and it scared the child. Could you persuade Jay to spend more time with his son?”

Tabitha met Georgina’s gaze, and for a moment, Georgina felt a pang of guilt wash over her.

“You raise a valid point,” Tabitha conceded. “After all, that child is Jay’s own flesh and blood. Bring him out later. I’ll call Jay, and we can have dinner together as a family.”

Tabitha emphasized the words “as a family,” her tone dripping with significance.

Once Georgina departed, Kimberly approached swiftly from a distant table, her curiosity piqued. “Mom, why were you talking to Georgina for so long?”

Tabitha lifted her coffee cup, taking a measured sip as she contemplated her response. Though Georgina’s intelligence and emotional acumen were mediocre at best, her ambition was undeniable. Tabitha knew she wouldn’t let this opportunity slip through her fingers without a fight.
