Chapter 1023: Chapter 1023: Declaration of War
Chapter 1023 -1023: Declaration of War
Everyone exchanged bewildered glances, unsure of what to do for a time.
The news of Darian Snyder preparing to step into the Martial Saint rank had already spread throughout the world of martial arts.
Many looked up at the Pill Cloud taking shape and couldn’t help but sigh softly.
“Looks like Darian Snyder is about to succeed.”
“If he really steps into Martial Saint, it’ll be bad news for us all.”
Soon, news started spreading:
“Darian Snyder has successfully stepped into the Martial Saint rank! He declared he would become the most powerful man of this era!”
Before the martial artists of the era could even digest this concern, another piece of news broke out:
“Darian Snyder is dead! Killed in three punches! The one who struck him down was none other than Ethan Smith, who had been missing for days!”
Two pieces of news, released within barely ten minutes, had people completely baffled.
Ethan Smith killed Darian Snyder in three punches? Wasn’t that absolutely absurd?
Even if Ethan Smith had successfully stepped into the Martial Saint rank, it didn’t seem possible for him to take out a Martial Saint in just three punches!
While everyone doubted the veracity of this claim, videos of the incident started circulating.
In the video, Darian Snyder appeared like a beaten dog, kneeling at Ethan Smith’s feet.
Within a few short minutes, his divine sense was directly severed!
“Ethan Smith… really killed Darian Snyder in three punches!”
“Shit, Ethan Smith! As expected of him! After stepping into the Martial Saint rank, he’s truly unstoppable!”
“Insane, absolutely insane! Even Star from the Second Secret Realm probably couldn’t pull that off!”
On the Nine Pinnacles Mountain, everyone gathered around the video in joyous excitement.
“Hahahahahaha!”
Frederick Cohen couldn’t help but laugh heartily.
“As expected of Ethan Smith! Well done!”
Blaise Rhodes, however, kept a stern face and muttered under his breath, “Looks like we need to work harder too.”
…
Divine Alchemist Pavilion.
Tyler Wright gazed slyly at the Pavilion Master.
The Pavilion Master simply narrowed his eyes, completely ignoring Tyler Wright.
This infuriated Tyler Wright greatly.
He had come to the Divine Alchemist Pavilion several times, only to be stonewalled every single time.
“Damn it!”
Finally, Tyler Wright couldn’t hold back any longer!
He flipped the table in front of him and roared angrily, “I’ve held back out of respect for Ignacio Burke; don’t think I’m truly afraid of him!”
The Pavilion Master remained unfazed, his expression unchanging and silent.
“Alright, trying to push me to the limit, huh?” Tyler Wright’s face was clouded with malice.
“When I’m done tearing through you and make my escape, I’ll see exactly what Ignacio Burke tries to do to me!”
With that, Tyler Wright lunged at the Pavilion Master, his teeth bared and fists ready!
The Pavilion Master frowned deeply and was just about to rise when someone suddenly pushed the door open from the outside.
“Today, with Mr. Smith in the Martial Saint rank, martial artists of this era finally have a voice,” Darnell Bradley said with a faint sigh.
“Ethan Smith, I always knew you’d be the first to step into the Martial Saint rank!”
Facing everyone’s congratulatory remarks, Ethan Smith stood and thanked them one by one.
“Ethan Smith, what’s with those people outside wearing black robes?” Frederick Cohen asked curiously.
“They’re my disciples,” Ethan Smith replied.
“Disciples?” Everyone was a bit taken aback by this response.
Ethan Smith nodded and said, “They’re just one part; the rest are still stationed in the Proseponia Kingdom.”
“Wow, you pulled together a team so quickly, impressive.”
“That’s nothing. With Mr. Smith’s influence now, I imagine he could easily raise an army and even replace the Capital City Martial Arts Association if he wanted!”
“That’s exactly my plan,” Ethan Smith said firmly.
At these words, Ricardo Bowman and the others instantly widened their eyes in surprise.
“Ethan Smith, we were just joking! Don’t take it too seriously,” Ricardo Bowman said, patting Ethan Smith on the shoulder.
“Yeah, the Capital City Martial Arts Association has deeply entrenched roots. Replacing them won’t be an easy task,” Darnell Bradley added.
“One step at a time. No one knows what kind of power lies behind the Capital City Martial Arts Association,” someone else advised.
“Who cares! What’s so great about them, anyway?” Frederick Cohen scoffed.
He stepped forward and said, “Ethan Smith, count me in when you attack the Capital City Martial Arts Association!”
“Alright, no problem,” Ethan Smith nodded.
With that, Ethan Smith slowly stood up from his chair.
He swept his gaze across everyone, his voice icy as he declared, “Spread the word: Heaven Gate officially declares war on both the Capital City Martial Arts Association and the Second Secret Realm!”
