Chapter 1342 -1342: The Terrified Gowinston City Lord

Meanwhile, Ethan Smith was riding on the Wind-chasing Stallion, heading towards the Freeman Family.

On the way, Ethan couldn’t help but wonder to himself,

“Randall Freeman is quite different from the traditional wise master image; he’s more of a roughneck.”

“No wonder the Freeman brothers are like that…” muttered Ethan Smith.

The brothers didn’t seem to care much, it was obviously not their first time dealing with this.

“Damn, I don’t know if we’ll make it back in time.” Clay grumbled.

“What, do you have something to do when you get back?” Ethan asked, puzzled.

Clay glared at him. “Of course, it’s the decennial flower appreciation convention. If we miss it, I swear, I’ll flip!”

Ethan responded, slightly surprised, “I didn’t expect you to be a man of culture.”

“Cultured my arse, he’s just looking to score chicks.” Alfred chimed in.

Clay chuckled, “Women are also flowers, but they are more beautiful and seductive ones!”

Then, Clay leaned in to Ethan, speaking mysteriously: “Let me tell you, there are so many beauties at the flower show, each more tasteful than the last. I can’t miss this chance!”

Ethan couldn’t help but laugh and cry at the same time. He wasn’t interested in chasing girls, he just wanted to recover his strength as soon as possible and head to the Central Province find Emily Taylor.

They flew for quite a while, and about three days later, they landed at a place called Grandeous City.

“See that? That grand mansion ahead is our Freeman estate!” Clay said eagerly.

Following his pointing finger, indeed, an enormous manor was in sight of the party.

This was the Holy Region, after all, plenty of open land. For mighty cultivators, claiming a piece of land was nothing.

“Come, let me show you around our estate!” Clay pulled Ethan along as they set foot in the manor.

As soon as they entered the estate, they were greeted by two maids.

“Young master, you’re back.” The maids greeted the Freeman brothers.

“Hey, Belle, did you miss me?” a grinning Clay asked.

“Stop it!”

“Huh? Willa, you’ve gained some weight, your bum is bigger than before, but I like it!”

“That Ling’er, you seem to have filled out quite a bit.”

Along the way, almost all the maids they encountered were flirted with by Clay.

Ethan’s cheeks turned red, wishing he could hide somewhere.

Ethan opened and then closed his mouth, speechless.

He had never seen such a way of companionship.

“Ethan, you should rest for today. In a day or two, we’ll take you to the flower appreciation convention!” Clay said mysteriously.

Ethan nodded, “Alright.”

Gowinston City, the dwelling location of the Cloud Sect.

The City Lord was sitting in a room, his face filled with distress.

“We sent more than a hundred men to capture Ethan Smith, but he escaped.” The City Lord sighed.

The middle-aged man sitting across him scoffed, “That’s your incompetence, more than a hundred men can’t catch Ethan Smith?”

The City Lord glanced at him, bitterly smiling, “Catching him is not a problem, it’s just that… Randall Freeman suddenly interfered, Edric, you have to put in a good word for me.”

The man known as Edric frowned upon hearing this.

“Randall Freeman? Why is that maniac meddling in this matter?” Edric frowned.

“Because of his grandsons.” the City Lord sighed.

Edric was silent for a long while before standing up, “This won’t do, I must report this to the Sect Master immediately!”
