Chapter 1381 -1381: Entering the Cloud Sect
In the warehouse, people were frantically moving goods to and fro.
Most of these ingredients were wrapped in Cryolite to preserve their freshness.
The more high-end foodstuffs would even be transported with a magical artifact, a testament to the Cloud Sect’s extravagance.
Perhaps that was why Clara Cobbett harbored such hostility towards them.
Ethan Smith found it hard to understand; with Clara’s deep resentment being open for all to see, why on earth was Mr. Trivett bold enough to employ her? Was he not afraid that she might poison the ingredients?
“Move along,” Clara cast a glance at Ethan Smith.
Ethan Smith responded with a nod, careful not to showcase his impressive divine power, and continued moving the goods slowly.
The people working in the warehouse were generally of average ability, to the point that not even an apperences of the nascent soul could be seen.
They loaded the goods onto the Demonic Beast, who were then driven towards the Cloud Sect by people.
Among those in charge of delivery were Clara and Ethan Smith.
About half an hour later, the two set off.
During their journey to the Cloud Sect, Ethan Smith curiously asked: “Why don’t we use the Spatial Magic Artifact for transportation? Wouldn’t it be more convenient?”
Clara sneered and said, “The Spatial Magic Artifact can’t preserve the original taste of the ingredients. These beasts appreciate luxury more than you or I do.”
Ethan Smith curled his lip in disdain and spoke no more.
The two eventually arrived at the gate of the Cloud Sect. The gatekeeper appeared to know Clara and didn’t hinder their progress. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
This was Ethan Smith’s second visit to the Cloud Sect.
His eyes swept around the place.
The Cloud Sect’s prosperity far exceeded his expectations.
There were probably tens of thousands of disciples alone! An incredibly large number!
The numerous training grounds and floating Heavenly Palaces were evidence of the Cloud Sect’s strength.
“The storeroom is over there,” Clara cast a glance at Ethan Smith.
“Don’t be too curious while in the Cloud Sect, it can attract a beating.”
Ethan Smith uttered an affirmative grunt, following behind Clara towards the storeroom.
After arranging the goods, Clara swiftly motioned for Ethan Smith to follow her out.
“We’re leaving already?’ Ethan frowned.
Clara scoffed cooly, “What, are you wishing to stay for a meal? Do you believe they would even welcome us?”
Without another word, Ethan took in all he saw and heard during their journey.
“I’ve heard that the Cloud Sect has a genius named Kingsley Kelley. Have you heard of him?” Ethan Smith asked, probing.
Clara scoffed, “Of course! Everyone around here knows about Kingsley Kelley.”
This was both good and bad for Ethan Smith.
The good news was that he could take the opportunity to explore around the Cloud Sect.
After all, as the First Sect of the Southern Province and true wielders of power, their location must surely be the most bustling destination.
Even Gowinston City could not compare.
Many more treasures lie in the Cloud Sect.
Using this opportunity, Ethan Smith could search for the Life Aura.
The only thing worrying him was the fear of a sudden attack from the Cloud Sect.
Several days passed.
Nearly every day, individuals from the Cloud Sect would come to the Harmony Tower for food and drinks, and Ethan Smith consequently gathered more news from them.
He learned about the latest developments regarding the pursuit for Ethan Smith, Kingsley Kelley’s cultivation condition, and even the location of the First Elder’s cultivation room.
Besides the people from the Cloud Sect, there were also local officials and nobles.
It could be said that there was no shortage of influential people visiting the Harmony Tower.
One day, Ethan Smith decided to go out and try to find the Life Aura.
Just as he was about to leave, a familiar figure emerged in the Harmony Tower.
Upon seeing this figure, Ethan Smith felt a sudden tremor in his heart. Suppressing his excitement, he quickly followed after.
