Chapter 1383 -1383: Legend of the Southern Province_1
Simona picked up her chopsticks and grabbed a piece of meat, saying, “I got this news from a friend of mine. He said he’ll be setting off in half a month to search for the Water of Life.”
“I came this time specifically to tell you so you can prepare in advance.” Simona said. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
“Half a month…” Ethan Smith muttered softly.
That meant that, including the journey, Ethan Smith could still go to the Cloud Sect once more.
“Alright, half a month is perfect, but… is this information accurate? Is your friend reliable?” Ethan asked.
Simona glanced at Ethan and said, “If it weren’t reliable, would I have come all this way just to tell you? You little bastard, you actually doubt me?”
Ethan felt slightly embarrassed and said, “I’m sorry, I was just being too cautious.”
Simona was obviously joking and pointed to the dishes on the table, saying, “Hurry up and eat.”
But Ethan had no appetite, his mind was completely occupied with thoughts of the Water of Life.
The Life Aura could change the number on Ethan’s forehead from ten to nine, and from nine to eight, but the Water of Life would be even more potent. The results it could bring would surely be even more astonishing!
“If I can get the Water of Life, I might be able to recover my spiritual power directly,” Ethan thought to himself.
With Ethan’s current status, if he regains his spiritual power, he would not only possess a stronger strength, but he could even take the opportunity to break through to the Mighty Realm!
Ethan’s heart became more and more excited, his eyes full of anticipation.
“How are you getting used to it here? Have you encountered any trouble?” Simona asked at this time.
Ethan smiled and said, “Everything is good. Mr. Trivett has been taking good care of me. By the way, what’s your relationship with him?”
Simona rolled her eyes and said, “Just a friendly relationship. Why are you asking so many questions?”
Ethan pursed his lips and said no more.
After the meal, Simona prepared to leave.
When the private room’s door opened, Ethan was surprised to find that Mr. Trivett was still waiting outside.
As soon as he saw Simona, Mr. Trivett hurried up.
“Simona, are you done talking?” Mr. Trivett asked with a hint of expectation.
Simona smiled and said, “Yes, we’re done. Thank you for your hospitality, Mr. Trivett.”
Mr. Trivett opened his mouth to say something, but Simona interrupted, “Mr. Trivett, I have to rush back to the auction house for something, so I won’t be staying any longer. Please take good care of my little brother.”
Mr. Trivett’s words got stuck in his throat, and he said awkwardly, “Alright, alright, no problem. I’ll take good care of him!”
Simona glanced at Ethan and said, “Don’t forget to come find me in a few days.”
“Don’t worry.” Ethan replied.
Afterwards, Ethan and Mr. Trivett watched as Simona left the place.
Mr. Trivett’s eyes followed Simona’s departure, seemingly lost in thoughts.
Clara waved her hand impatiently, obviously not wanting to argue with Ethan about this issue.
“So where are you going?” Clara changed the subject.
“I’m going out to look around and see if I can find any treasures,” Ethan said candidly.
“Great, I was planning to go out too. You can come with me.” Clara didn’t wait for a response and took Ethan with her.
Ethan frowned and said, “Where are we going?”
Clara answered, “A great place, the largest library in the Southern Province.”
“Library?” Ethan was taken aback. “You still have a habit of reading?”
“Reading can change your fate,” Clara said, “If I didn’t have an education, I wouldn’t have had the chance to work here.”
Ethan couldn’t help but smile. He never thought he would hear this familiar phrase in the Holy Region.
“So, what’s in the library?” Ethan asked curiously.
“What else could there be? It just records some legends of the Southern Province and public techniques that everyone can learn,” Clara said.
“If it weren’t for this, I wouldn’t be staying in this crappy place.”
Ethan stroked his chin, thinking that it was indeed a good place to go.
He didn’t know much about the Southern Province, so it was an excellent opportunity to learn more about it.
