Without hesitation, Kisha clicked Yes, her eyes sparkling with excitement. The moment the purchase was complete, she immediately pulled the furnace out of her inventory and placed it on the table, only to be nearly thrown across the field. The sheer size of it almost crushed her table and other Alchemy equipment.
She had expected a large pot-like furnace, maybe the size of a cauldron, but what she received was more like a round water tank, towering over her.
Kisha was dumbfounded.
Luckily, her quick reflexes saved her, and she even managed to store all her other alchemy tools and the table in her inventory before they were smashed under the enormous furnace.
"What the fuck is this?!" Kisha exclaimed, staring up at the colossal Alchemy Furnace.
Now, she was certain that the Divine Emperor of Heaven must have been a slacker. He made this enormous furnace just so he could mass-produce pills using its automatic function, maximizing output while minimizing effort. Just staring at the massive, cauldron-like water tank, Kisha’s eyebrows twitched; she didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
The thought of filling it with ingredients made her head spin. How much would she need to pour in? How many batches could it produce at once, hundreds? Thousands? And with a furnace this size, how much spiritual energy and spiritual fire would she even need to make it work? The idea alone made her feel like she might exhaust all her energy just trying to fill it.
For the first time since the purchase, Kisha felt the creeping regret of an impulsive buyer; she might have just bought the most overpowered furnace in history... and now she had to figure out how to use it.
But who could blame her? Nowhere in the description had it mentioned the furnace’s colossal size. This looked more like industrial equipment than an Alchemy Furnace. Kisha’s funny bone was thoroughly tickled as she stared at it, dumbfounded, wanting to laugh at herself for not anticipating this.
Then again, the Divine Emperor of Heaven was an unparalleled existence in the Cultivation world, already sitting at the pinnacle of power. For him, using a furnace this enormous and filling it with fire essence and spiritual energy was probably child’s play. For Kisha, however... it was going to be a challenge.
Still, with a furnace this massive, she could finally pursue her plan of mass-producing pills for her store. But to make that a reality, she would first need to drastically increase her Spiritual Energy.
She might also need to train her Spiritual Fire and make it significantly stronger. This furnace was massive, filled with different arrays; it probably would take dozens of alchemists just to operate it properly, consuming a tremendous amount of spiritual energy.
This was something she hadn’t considered earlier in her impulsive excitement. Luckily, her Spiritual Energy was already fairly high, so she might still be able to handle it. And if not... well, she could always buy a beginner-level furnace first and store this one safely. Her only worry and reason she bought it right away was that someone might snatch this treasure if she hesitated.
"Sigh..." Kisha let out a heavy sigh, though her excitement remained undiminished. She moved around the furnace, inspecting every detail, marveling at the lifelike dragon intricately carved around it. Though it gleamed golden, she doubted it was pure gold; after all, gold would melt under her spiritual fire. The materials used must be top-tier, crafted to withstand extreme heat and spiritual energy.
Then she activated the 50% discount coupon for the System Mall and had 008 purchase all the ingredients she would need, along with anything else that caught her fancy, as long as it was related to pill refinement or inscribing. This included materials for crafting large quantities of healing pills and Ascension Pills, as well as supplies for making more Teleportation Scrolls and Combat-type Magic Scrolls.
However, since she was now experimenting with arcane magic, Kisha quickly realized that combat scrolls alone wouldn’t be enough. She would also need Support-type Magic Scrolls like Body Enhancement, Speed Enhancement, and even City Shield scrolls. She clearly remembered how useful the City Shield had been in protecting her base during critical moments, especially in the event of another Geostorm sweeping across the land.
Ideas kept pouring into her mind one after another. In the end, Kisha practically let 008 go on a shopping spree while she simply reviewed the list and approved each purchase. The process took them a full two hours before it finally came to a halt, not because Kisha had finished buying everything she wanted, but because the terrifyingly low balance of her remaining System Points made her stop abruptly.
"Ah! Discount coupons are dangerous!" Kisha exclaimed resentfully as she stared at her remaining System Points, now down to a mere hundred billion. She had just burned through dozens of billions in the System Mall in one go.
Although 008 had been briefly worried at first, that concern vanished almost instantly. With the massive transaction completed, its ranking points surged, and Kisha could practically see the system’s invisible grin stretching from ear to ear as its position on the leaderboard jumped several ranks.
"Host, I’ve purchased all the ingredients you’ll need. You can begin refining pills now," 008 suddenly interjected, cutting through Kisha’s resentful musings.
Kisha didn’t reply verbally. She simply nodded and went through the items 008 had bought, checking each one carefully. After confirming everything, she reviewed the recipe once more before taking out the required materials, which were the Spiritual Grass and a Level One Beast Core.
Then, recalling her earlier inspiration, she paused and took out two additional items: Scarlet Honey and Spiritual Spring water.
The Spiritual Spring was rich in pure Spiritual Energy. Adding it would help stabilize the pill-forming process and allow the pill to absorb as much energy as possible. With this enhancement, anyone who consumed the Ascension Pill would have more than enough Spiritual Energy to break through their bottleneck and advance to the next level.

By adding Spiritual Spring water, which contained an exceptionally high concentration of Spiritual Energy, the Ascension Pill would become far more potent than what most cultivators were accustomed to.
On top of that, the inclusion of Scarlet Honey would strengthen the user’s foundation, ensuring they wouldn’t suffer from post-breakthrough weakness, a flaw that plagued many cultivators after advancing.

It could propel them two entire levels higher before the effects finally stabilized.
