My 100th Rebirth a day before the Apocalypse novel Chapter 994

Chapter 994: Chapter 992 Omni Treasure Vault

"Exactly!" Mrs. Winters said, rising from her seat and gracefully making her way over to Edison. She crouched down beside him, her movements gentle and careful. "Little Edison, would you allow Auntie to carry you and sit you on my lap?" she asked.

Ever since having Duke, she hadn’t had any other children, and she had longed for a grandson. But with Kisha and Duke so busy, and the world plunged into this apocalypse, she knew now wasn’t the right time to push for it. Still, looking at Edison, she felt a warm longing and wanted to pour some of that affection into him instead.

Seeing the kind-looking woman in front of him, Edison felt reassured and nodded gently. He then glanced at Kisha, as if asking for her approval. When Kisha nodded, Edison lifted both arms, waiting to be carried. Mrs. Winters smiled and effortlessly scooped him up. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

Edison was already a big boy, a little heavy, but it was no trouble for her. Since awakening her ability, her physical stats had improved significantly, and after so many weeks of training and growth, carrying a child was effortless. Even the slow wear of age on her back seemed reversed, as if she had returned to her younger self.

"What a good child..." Mrs. Winters beamed as she carried Edison back to her seat. Edison buried his face in her shoulder, and Kisha couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight. Her earlier worries had long been carried away by the wind as she watched him, seeming just like a normal kid again.

This approach would help Edison assimilate with his surroundings. Because the more he was treated as a "special" child, the more he would feel different from his peers, something that could affect his mentality and even lead to isolation. Kisha understood that this was her mother-in-law’s way of helping Edison, and she appreciated it deeply.

Now, all that remained was to inform Daisy and ask her opinion about whether Edison could follow her around. It felt slightly like passing the responsibility onto Daisy, but it was for the best: having Edison by another child’s side would help him relax and enjoy himself. After all, every day with Daisy was like an adventure, with her moving through her territory as enthusiastically as Dora exploring a new world.

Once Daisy had Edison following her, his mind would surely be consumed by her boundless energy. Slowly, he might begin to open up to the world beyond himself, noticing its beauty and learning to treat even the smallest things as an adventure. Just imagining it made Kisha smile from ear to ear.

Using her telekinesis, she lifted the strawberry yogurt milk Edison had forgotten on the table and let it float closer to Edison. When Edison saw the carton hovering in the air, his eyes sparkled once again, filled with delight and curiosity.

He reached for the yogurt drink, and Kisha let his mind wander over it for a moment as she turned her thoughts to the real reason she had come to see her mother-in-law.

"Mom, actually, I came to ask for your advice and maybe a favor as well," Kisha said, her tone turning slightly shy. "It’s about a brand design. You grew up in a wealthy family and have such a creative mind, so I was wondering if you might have a better idea for creating a brand image for me."

"Oh?" Mrs. Winters’ eyes lit up immediately. "Are you opening a store? What are you planning to sell? What’s the motto, and who are your target customers?" she asked in one breath, clearly intrigued.

"Um... are those important?" Kisha asked hesitantly. She wasn’t sure whether she should let her mother-in-law in on the secret of the system, and even Duke didn’t know that much.

Besides, the Sales Channel’s customer base spanned people from different worlds and realms, something that would be difficult to explain. The thought clearly troubled her, and her expression grew conflicted.

"Kind of," Mrs. Winters replied with a gentle smile, a knowing glint flickering in her eyes. "When a designer creates a brand, its logo, visual style, even how the store’s name is written, everything affects how that brand is interpreted and built. It’s how your image resonates with customers. When they see it, they should immediately think of you, your products, and what you stand for."

She paused briefly before continuing, her voice reassuring. "It’s fine if you don’t want to go into too much detail. But at the very least, I need to know the store’s motto and the kind of products you sell, don’t I? As for your target customers, you can simply tell me whether you’re aiming for low- to middle-range buyers or the high-end market. Any other information you’re willing to share would help give me better inspiration and insight, so I can design a brand that truly fits your store."

Hearing this, Kisha fell into deep contemplation. Then, as realization dawned on her, the bubble burst.
