to teach him a lesson.

He loathed young and arrogant martial artists like Dustin. He would leave no room for leniency for the impending
trial.
“What an irredeemable fool!” Bianca remarked with a smug smirk.
Watching Dustin’s court disaster both disgusted and entertained her.
This was nothing but self–destruction.
“Enough with your words, young man! Let’s see you walk through the field to fulfill the trial of Blades and Fire if you’re so bold!” someone shouted from the crowd.
“Walk?” Dustin chuckled disdainfully.
A challenge like this was a piece of cake to him.
But why should he play along? Why should he accept judgment from these so–called elites?
Without hesitation, he raised his foot and stomped down on the blades before him.
Boom!
The ground shook under his foot. The long blades shattered like fragile glass and scattered into fragments.
In mere seconds, the field of blades was in ruins.
“How dare you!”
Angry shouts erupted once more, but this time, some of the martial artists exchanged uneasy glances.

A sharp gust of wind roared forth and snuffed out the fire in an instant. Only faint embers flickered on the ground.
This time, the elites could not hold themselves back. Their anger erupted into chaos as they hurled insults at Dustin for disregarding their rules so brazenly.
Victor’s face was as dark as storm clouds. His displeasure was evident as he waved his hand sharply. “Gauntlet of Fists!”
The elite martial artists understood immediately.
Eight of them stepped forward, and each radiated an intense and menacing aura.
Their presence was bathed in murderous intent, and their fury toward Dustin was almost tangible.
An outsider, who destroyed the local Aquila family, repeatedly showed blatant disregard for the trials, and disrespected them, was something they could not tolerate.
“No one here will go easy on you, boy,” said one of them coldly. “Prepare to be destroyed.”
In the past, martial artists who survived the trial of Blades and Fire were treated with some measure of respect for their courage and skill. Their punishment would only follow after a formal trial.
But Dustin had insulted every one of them, trampled over their pride, and provoked their wrath. This time, there would be no mercy.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
