Apollo was very strong.
Even Dustin had to admit that he was not a match. If he tried to force his way through with his current strength, he could not possibly win.
With a faint smile and all eyes on him, Dustin continued further down the pathway.
He did not walk quickly. His steps were steady.
He did not make any unnecessary movements. He simply looked like he was taking a casual walk.
Apollo’s illusion appeared in front of him again and attacked him fiercely.
Dustin did not have any pressure dealing with him for the first seven steps and easily made it.
But next was the main event.
When he walked into the pathway last time, he did not try taking the eighth step, because he sensed resistance and knew that it was dangerous.
This time, he took the step.
Everyone watched intently.
Dustin shut his eyes.
All of this was just an illusion.
He no longer tried to fight against Apollo’s illusion and simply allowed the fake attacks to land on him.
He was completely calm, and he let everything in the pathway take its natural course. The attacks from Apollo’s illusion were suddenly not a threat to him anymore.
He took the eighth step, but he did not stop. He went straight to take the ninth.
When he took the ninth step, everyone froze. Metal Mask and Timothy’s faces stiffened.
Then, right before everyone’s stunned eyes, Dustin took his tenth step.
This time, the crowd grew restless.
The tenth step was the highest record, and Dustin had managed it!
No one else could compare to him.
Timothy was in disbelief.
How could he do that?!
How was this possible?
Was Dustin a monster?
Metal Mask’s face darkened.
The more extraordinary Dustin proved himself, the greater of a threat he was to the Divine Hall.
Howard’s face was one of admiration and relief. He looked forward to Dustin creating another miracle.
Dustin had turned around and continued trudging down the pathway.
Before he cleared the pathway, he could not afford to lose his focus.
He remained calm and composed, shut his eyes, and took the eleventh step.
Twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth…
With the fourteenth step, Dustin reached the end and cleared the pathway.
He cleared the challenge!
He had actually managed to reach the end unharmed and became the first person in history to do it.
“He cleared it!”
The martial artists could not believe their eyes.
Dustin had managed to walk to the end of the dangerous pathway.
He had done it in fourteen steps!
How amazing!
Metal Mask’s breathing stilled, and Timothy froze.
“Master Apollo, you finally have someone to inherit your legacy,” murmured Howard in an excited and trembling voice.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
