“Who are you? Do you think you can boss us around? What are you shouting about? Do you have any manners at all?” someone yelled.
“I am the new hospital director, Simone Langley!” Simone said angrily.
No one seemed to care about that. It was clear that they knew Simone would show up, but it still did not matter.
“So, you’re the new hospital director. Well, you’re certainly accomplished for your age. A hospital director so young…” Clarence said mockingly.
“You still haven’t answered my question. Why are you playing cards during work hours? This is unacceptable.” Simone was furious.
Clarence frowned.
“Hey, miss, you’d better speak with some manners,” he said harshly as he glared at Simone. “Don’t think you can boss everyone around just because you’re the hospital director now.”
Simone’s face reddened at Clarence’s tone of voice.
Clarence smirked.
He had gotten instructions early on from the main branch of the Langley family to create trouble for Simone.
Besides, there was no way he would take orders from a young brat like her.
“Is this the way you behave with your superior?” Dustin stepped forward with an icy face. He glared at the people in the room.
They did not dare to meet Dustin’s gaze.
‘What a domineering young man…’ Clarence frowned as he thought. He had the feeling that Dustin would not be easy to deal with.
“What’s this about superiors and subordinates? A capable leader should be polite with their subordinates,” Clarence said with a scoff.
“I’ve been the assistant director at Peace Hospital for many years and have contributed a lot to it. Without me, this hospital would be done for! Never has a hospital director dared to lecture me before!
“You’re both young, but you’re treating me with such disrespect. Do you want me to leave?”
Clarence’s brazen behavior made Simone feel helpless.
After all, Clarence was right. The hospital would be done for if Clarence left.
“That’s nothing!” Dustin said icily.
“You talk about seniority but have no respect for your superiors. You think you can do whatever you want just because you’ve done a thing or two for the hospital. Do you really think everyone will let you have your way?”
“I… I’m the assistant director of this hospital. I’m its backbone!” Clarence stammered.
“Who cares what you are? You don’t act like you’re a subordinate at all and dare to go against your superior. You’re a piece of trash! You’re Clarence Boudin, right? You’re the assistant director? You think you’re so great at what you do? Well, I’m officially informing you that you’ve been fired!”
Everyone in the office was stunned when Dustin said that.
“What did you say? You’re firing me?!” Clarence asked in disbelief and thought that he had heard wrongly.
The hospital was about to go under. How dare Dustin fire him?
Were Dustin and Simone not afraid that Peace Hospital would be done for?
“That’s right. There’s no point in letting an old fart like you stay here. Get out!” Dustin said coldly.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
