Soon, Damien Vaughn had sped to Club DL.
The moment he opened the car door, Brandon Jacobs hurried over, quickly sliding into the passenger seat.
With a gossipy expression, he looked Damien Vaughn up and down repeatedly.
"Holy shit, no wonder Zeke Walton used to say that about you... So you guys really do have a radar for this stuff, huh? And only he could tell. Damn, Vaughn, you really know how to hide it!"
Damien snapped, "Do you not fucking understand English? I need someone straight. Why would I be looking for a straight guy for myself?"
It took Brandon a moment to catch on.
"Oh, right. Then who is it for? Holy shit, who have you met recently? You’d indulge this kind of weird kink for them? What about me, am I not your best friend anymore?"
"Brandon Jacobs, I’m in a hurry. Just get the guy here. I don’t have time for your bullshit."
With that, Damien glanced out the window.
Aside from a few security guards standing at the entrance, it was completely empty.
"So where is he?"
Brandon leaned back in his seat, his expression nonchalant.
"How can you be so naive at thirty? You want someone young, sensible, and discreet, but also a virgin. And on top of that, he has to be handsome and reliable? Where the hell am I supposed to find you a unicorn like that? Just think about it. Out of all the guys in this line of work, how many have a decent moral compass? They’re all just in it for the money..."
Damien was truly desperate and hadn’t thought things through. Brandon had a point.
He was so damn frustrated. He slammed a fist on the steering wheel.
"Do you have any reliable friends, then? Introduce them to me."
"I just don’t get it." Brandon leaned in close to his face again.
"Who are you really doing this for? Judging by your tone, it’s a woman. If she’s that desperate to find a man, why doesn’t she go out and find one herself? Is she too ugly or too old? That unpresentable? How could she have you this tied up in knots?"
Damien, not looking at all like someone asking for a favor, rolled his eyes at him.
"Knowing too much won’t do you any good. Just tell me, yes or no."
"If she’s a young, beautiful, rich woman, then I’ve got someone. If she’s old and ugly, then forget it."
Damien: "..."
"If I’d known you’d be this much of a pain in the ass, I would’ve just called Wyatt Wynn. She’s gorgeous—a total knockout, face and body, okay? Now, can you please bring the guy over?"
Brandon’s eyes instantly lit up.
"Huh? A beauty? A total knockout, face and body? Holy shit, you have a prize like that and you’re not introducing her to me? You’re looking for a stranger instead? Are you out of your goddamn mind?"
Damien looked at him with disdain. "You?"
"Yeah. Don’t I fit the bill? I’m young, handsome, and discreet. I’d never spill your secrets. And most importantly, I’m still..."
Damien suddenly leaned toward him, reached a long arm across, and pushed his door open.
"Get out."
"Hey, hey, hey! I’m not done talking! What are you doing?"
Brandon grabbed his arm. "I told you, I need someone with no experience! You’re a fucking player, stop making things difficult for me!"
"Who are you calling a player? Shit, is that really the kind of guy you think I am? I might run my mouth and flirt with pretty women sometimes, but I have principles, okay? I’ve never..."
"You dare say you’ve never?"
"I dare! I’ve never slept around! From my school days until now, I’ve only ever been with, you know, her. Twice. If I’ve been with any other woman, may lightning strike me dead!"
Damien knew that Brandon had still been in school when he was dating her. He remembered how young and innocent they were back then.
