Mr. Jordan was about to die of secondhand embarrassment from Cecelia Archer’s reaction.
That girl! If he had known she was such a bad drunk and would go wild after a few drinks, there was no way he would have let her stay tonight. Now look at this mess...
"President Vaughn..."
Damien Vaughn raised a hand, cutting him off.
Cecelia Archer paid them no mind, burrowing into his arms. Strands of her fragrant hair brushed against his cheek and chin, her delicate, soft body pressing tightly against his. He felt like every nerve in his body was about to snap.
Although he was trying his best to keep a straight face, if Mr. Jordan and Mr. Lee didn’t leave soon, he couldn’t guarantee what he might do next.
"You two go first. I’ll take her home later."
"Don’t say a word about tonight to anyone."
The two young people were clinging to each other intimately. Although Cecelia Archer’s status was a far cry from President Vaughn’s, her age and features were a perfect match for him. No matter how you looked at it, the situation was deeply suggestive.
Since President Vaughn hadn’t gotten angry and even told them to leave and keep it a secret, they, as men of the world, knew exactly what that implied.
This Cecelia Archer girl was certainly bold. It looked like she was about to move up in the world tonight.
"Yes, yes, of course. We’ll get going then. We’ll leave it to you, President Vaughn."
In the blink of an eye, only the two of them were left in the private room.
Damien Vaughn gripped Cecelia Archer’s shoulders with difficulty, trying to push her away.
"Alright, they’re all gone. You can stop the act. What exactly are you trying to do?"
Cecelia Archer was dizzy, and the only place she felt comfortable was nestled in his warm embrace. She greedily clung to the feeling, shamelessly refusing to leave.
"No. I feel awful. Just hold me, don’t ignore me~"
Whimpering, she burrowed back into his arms. Damien Vaughn’s blood was boiling so hot he could barely stand it. He gritted his teeth.
"Cecelia Archer, you have some nerve! Who told you to do this? Who put you up to it? Speak!"
"You’re so mean. Waaaah~"
Cecelia Archer really did feel awful. Her stomach was churning, and his harsh tone on top of it all made her suddenly want to cry.
"Didn’t I give you money? Why can’t you be nicer to me? Don’t be mean~"
Feeling her wipe her tears on his suit, Damien Vaughn grabbed her chin and lifted her face.
"What nonsense are you spouting? What do you want?"
Cecelia Archer looked up, her eyes brimming with tears. As she stared at him, she was suddenly overcome with the urge to kiss him.
His lips looked so soft, tender, and sweet. The teeth beneath them were white and even. He looked delicious.
"Can I kiss you? I want to kiss you."
"??"
As she spoke, before Damien Vaughn could push her away, Cecelia Archer actually leaned in and kissed him.
’Just as soft as I’d imagined. So comfortable.’
She latched onto Damien Vaughn’s lips, sucking and nibbling at them. Damien felt his hair stand on end.
’This crazy woman, does she even know what she’s doing?’
Having gotten a taste, Cecelia Archer was far from satisfied. Instead, she pushed her luck even further.
"So sweet. Did you eat candy? Let me see how many pieces of candy are in your mouth."
With that, she tried to pry his mouth open again. Damien Vaughn had finally had enough.
"Can you stop acting crazy? I’m taking you home! Where do you live?"
"Home?"
Cecelia Archer’s hands were pushed down, and she slumped limply against his shoulder.
"I don’t have a home. Houses are so expensive, I can’t afford one. Sigh, why does everyone else have a home but me? I want a home too."
It was pointless arguing with a drunk. Damien Vaughn couldn’t be bothered with any more nonsense. He stood up from the chair, holding her in his arms.
He wanted to make her walk on her own, but Cecelia Archer’s legs wouldn’t obey her. The moment he let go, she started sliding to the floor. Damien had no choice but to carry her.
"And you dared to drink on someone else’s behalf with a tolerance like this? You’re completely reckless!"
Ryan was waiting outside. When he saw President Vaughn finally emerge with Miss Archer in his arms, he hurried over.
"President Vaughn, this is..."
"She drank too much. We’re taking her home first."
