Chapter 302 Caring For Each Other

Carlotta was in a daze. After her mind had been blank for a few seconds, she suddenly sat up on the bed and asked, "Who are you?"

Martha said, "It doesn't matter who I am! What matters is whether you still want to avenge Daisy's death."

Carlotta leaned against the headboard, turned on the bedside lamp, and asked, "Who the hell are you? How did you get my phone number?"

Martha didn't answer her questions but continued, "If you want to seek revenge, meet me at HuggaMug Café tomorrow."

Before Carlotta could answer, Martha hung up the phone.

Carlotta sat on the bed in a daze with the phone in her hand, having an unreal feeling.

After a few seconds, she raised the phone to check the recent call, confirming that she was not dreaming.

Then, she tossed and turned, unable to fall asleep.

In the bedroom on the second floor.

After Faye worked overtime to deal with a scandal of a B-list star, she sat on the bed, curled her index fingers, and rubbed her temples with her knuckles.

When Colin came out of the bathroom after taking a shower, he saw this scene. So, he stepped forward, hooked his fingers at her, and said, "Come here."

Faye raised her eyes and said in a lazy tone, "I'm too lazy to move."

Colin smiled, "Then, I'll go to you."

Then, he sat down on the bed beside her, reached out to clasp her slender waist, and held her onto his lap.

Faye didn't struggle. When she was placed on his lap, she naturally rested her hands on his shoulders.

When their eyes met, Colin laughed in a deep voice, "Do you want to continue sitting like this? What about we lie down?"

Faye fiddled with his collar with her fingers and said, "I want to sit here."

Colin raised his hands, pressed his long fingers against her temples, and said, "Which artist got in trouble this time?"

Faye replied, "A B-list female artist."

Colin asked, "What happened?"

When she looked at his opened collar, she found his collarbones were well-defined and his Adam's apple was sexy. Then, she said casually, "Nothing serious."

Colin chuckled, "A love affair?"

Faye nodded.

Seeing her not intend to talk about this topic, he stopped speaking.

After a while, he noticed her fingers on his neck become increasingly restless, so he chuckled, "What are you doing?"

Faye said, "Nothing. I'm bored."

Colin put his hands on her waist and said, "How about some exercise before we go to bed?"

Faye shook her head, "No."

Colin teased, "Since you don't want it, why are you touching me like that?"

Faye looked at him, moved her fingers away from his neck, pinched his earlobe, and said, "Colin."

He responded, "Yes?"

She said lazily, "You are good-looking."

He said with a half-smile, "I am just good-looking?"

She raised her eyebrows and said, "You're also in good shape."

He teased, "I am just in good shape?"

Faye stopped pinching his earlobe, leaned over, and whispered into his ear, "You're also good at having sex."

She was giving out a fragrant smell. As soon as she finished speaking, Colin held her waist harder and said hoarsely, "Honey, are you sure you don't want it?"

Faye rested her chin on his shoulder and smiled, "Yes, I'm sure."

Colin complained, "But I want it."

Faye's smile grew bigger before she said, "No, you don't."

He turned his head to look at her with a smile in his eyes and said in a deep voice, "Honey, you're more and more naughty."

Faye tilted her head, looked at him for a second, kissed the corner of his lips, and said, "I learned a lot from you."

Colin grinned, "Do you want me to teach you more tonight?"

Faye leaned against his shoulder softly and said, "Not tonight."

Colin glanced at the kitchen, chuckled, and told the truth, saying, "She said she received a call last night. The caller asked if she wanted to avenge our mother's death."

Our mother?

Faye thought about it for two seconds before realizing that he was referring to Daisy.

Then, she asked, "Did the caller say anything else?"

Colin said solemnly, "The caller asked Aunt Carlotta to go to HuggaMug Café today."

Hearing this, Faye thought for a while and asked, "Who could it be?"

Colin rubbed her fingertips with his finger pulps and said, "I've guessed who it is."

Faye frowned, "The person who called you last night?"

Colin nodded.

Faye fell silent

She wanted to ask him who had called him last night but swallowed the words on the tip of her tongue in the end.

She could see that he was very antipathetic to that person, so she didn't want to ask.

Colin raised his head when Faye bowed her head, and then the former smiled, "You're on a rare holiday today. Why don't you ask Rebecca to go shopping with you?"

Faye lowered her eyes and asked, "Shopping? Do you think I will let you go to meet the person who called you last night by yourself?"

Colin suddenly smiled, "Honey, can you become a little more stupid?"

Faye said with a serious face, "I don't think I can become stupid this life, but I will give it a try in the next life."

Colin teased, "I've ever seen a person boasting with such a serious face before."

Faye said, "If there is no accident, you will see it every day for the rest of your life."

When he heard her words, his heart suddenly skipped a beat before he said, "There will be no accident."

Faye said, "Yes! So, you will see it every day. Get used to it as soon as possible."

After she finished speaking, Carlotta's phone on the coffee table vibrated.

A message popped up on the screen, saying, "10:30 am, Room 309 of HuggaMug Café."
