Chapter 393 Two Different Things
When Tiffany showed a flattering smile, Colin smiled back and nonchalantly thanked her.
In the chilly wind, she tightened the collar of her coat and said, "Colin, I did something wrong in the past. I apologize to you and Faye."
Colin replied, "Apology accepted."
Tiffany said, "As the saying goes, the enemy of your enemy is your friend. We have the same goal when it comes to dealing with Blaine."
Colin smiled in silence.
Tiffany was not oblivious. She had come out because she wanted to endear herself to Colin.
The goal was achieved, so she didn't intend to stay longer. After the small talk, she left.
Watching her enter the door, Colin sneered, reached into his pocket to take out a cigarette case, and knocked out a cigarette. When he was about to smoke, he paused and then flicked it away with his fingers.
Then, he threw the whole pack of cigarettes into a trash can by the road.
When he bent over and got into the car, Faye turned to look at him and asked, "What did Tiffany say?"
Colin chuckled, "She wants to endear herself to me. She said the orphanage will not be demolished and told me that the enemy of my enemy is my friend."
Faye smirked, "She sure is smarter than Blaine."
Colin said, "Her little trick is not worth mentioning."
When the car was running slowly, Colin took Faye's hand and squeezed it, saying, "There will be a big upheaval in the Farrell family soon."
Faye said, "With Tiffany's ability alone, she would not have reached where she is now. There must be someone behind her."
Colin raised an eyebrow and asked, "Who do you suspect?"
Faye answered, "Brandon."
Colin smiled noncommittally, "No matter who is behind her, she doesn't have the energy to fight us right now."
Faye pursed her lips slightly and nodded, "Yeah."
Both of them had their thoughts, so neither of them had spoken on the next leg of the journey.
An hour later, the car arrived at Fennth Community.
After Colin and Faye got off the car, the former stood outside the car, looked at Andy, and said, "Send my car to the Automobile Sales Service Shop for repair."
Andy responded, "Yes, Mr. Farrell."
Then, Colin went back home side by side with Faye.
Carlotta and Cindy had fallen asleep now. After Colin and Faye changed their shoes in the hallway, they went upstairs lightly and got into the bedroom.
After Colin finished speaking, he kept staring at her.
She hooked Colin's collar with her finger to pull it down and bit his Adam's apple on tiptoe, saying, "I need some privacy."
Colin's Adam's apple rolled up and down before he took his hands off the wall and put them on her waist. And then, he pressed her waist hard, hugged her tightly, and said in a hoarse voice, "I care about your safety more, so it is useless to seduce me."
Hearing this, she was slightly stunned, feeling warm in her heart.
Noticing her stopped her movements, Colin lowered his eyes and said, "Can you tell me now?"
Faye returned to her senses, smiled, put down her heels, and said jokingly, "Since it is useless to seduce you, we will not do it tonight."
Colin licked his molar with the tip of his tongue and laughed in a muffled voice, "Are you goading me into action?"
Faye shook her head, "No, I do mean it."
Colin poked his slender fingers into her clothes, bowed his head, and whispered in her ear, "These are two different things."
Colin's voice was deep, sexy, and pleasing to the ear.
Faye's waist arched a little with his movement, displaying her curvy figure. Then, she murmured, "Colin."
Colin opened his mouth to nip her earlobe lightly and said, "Call me honey."
