Chapter 404 The Abandoned One

Did Tiffany send Blaine to prison?

After Ethan finished talking, Colin sneered from the other end, "I don't know."

Ethan smiled on the other end and asked, "Do you care?"

Colin teased, "What does it have to do with us?"

Ethan got what he meant and said, "I thought you would use Blaine to control Tiffany so then they would restrict each other."

Colin replied, "Blaine is just a gambit. He would show no effect on restraining Tiffany."

If Blaine could have one-fifth of Old Mr. Farrell's tactfulness, he might still be useful.

After hanging up the call with Ethan, Colin suddenly remembered what Tiffany said when she came out of the Farrells' Mansion the other night, "Don't worry, the orphanage will not be demolished."

That seemed to make sense now.

Blaine was sent to prison. Therefore, the orphanage would not be demolished.

As soon as Colin hung up with Ethan, Abbot walked out of the examination room in pain.

Colin stepped forward and asked, "What's the result of the checkup?"

Abbot answered, "Thanks to Jadon. I don't have to wait for the x-ray and I will be sent to the operating room directly. My joint is fractured."

Colin smiled cheekily, "No worries. I'll ask Jadon to give you more anesthesia later."

Abbot looked at Zhou Yi and said, "That doesn't make you kind to say that."

About ten minutes later, Abbot went into the operating room with Jadon.

Abbot got onto the operating bed by himself, and looked at Jadon with his jaw taut, "Jadon, I'm nervous."

Jadon glanced at him and said, "Are you in a relationship with Rebecca?"

Abbot was stunned and shook his head hard, "No."

Jadon was calm and prepared for the operation as usual, "Really?"

Abbot pursed his lips and said with an awkward expression, "Yes. She likes me but I haven't made up my mind yet."

No one could tell if Jadon had listened to Abbot's words. He acted quite calmly and turned his head to the anesthesiologist and hinted to her to start the injection of anesthesia.

The anesthesiologist asked in a low voice, "Dr. Carter, do we only use the nerve block anesthesia?"

Jadon said without changing his expression, "General anesthesia."

The anesthesiologist confirmed with him again, "General anesthesia?"

Jadon answered, "He is very talkative. If he is not under general anesthesia, he will distract me in my surgery."

The anesthesiologist glanced at Abbot quietly and nodded, "Understood."

Anesthesiologist thought to herself, "It's rare that such a handsome guy is a chatterbox."

After Jadon prepared for the procedure, he stood in front of the operating table and looked at Abbot, "Colin is married. Don't you feel any pressure when seeing him and Faye are so in love?"

Abbot shook his head, thought for a moment, and said, "I'm not under any pressure, but my mom is stressed out."

Jadon was speechless.

Jadon responded, "Um."

Colin continued, "Jason, please don't blame Abbot for what has happened today. It's my fault."

Jadon smiled elegantly and said, "I don't care about the things between you guys. It's the brotherhood between you two. It doesn't matter whether he fights for you or is stabbed for you. That's all between you two."

Colin laughed in a deep voice and said, "Thank you, Jadon."

Jadon took off the pen hanging in the chest pocket of his white coat and pressed it twice in his hand randomly.

Seeing that, Colin said, "Jadon, if you have anything to say, just spill it."

Jadon seemed to be old enough to hold onto his emotion and ask calmly, "It's nothing serious. I just want to ask how is Carlotta's recovery?"

Colin answered honestly, "Carlotta is recovering very well."

Jadon replied, "Um."

Colin teased, "Jadon."

Jadon looked at Colin, put away the pen in his hand, and remained calm, "I have a class reunion this weekend. Can you help me to ask Carlotta if she is available?"

Colin smiled and said, "Okay."

Jadon put the pen back into his chest pocket and said, "It's just for all the classmates to get together. Ask her not to worry too much."

Colin replied, "Got it."

Jadon looked at Colin who was pretending to know nothing, and asked straight to the point, "What does Carlotta think about me?"
