My Fated Alphas Cruel Game novel Chapter 112

112 Chapter 112 Warriors Answer Call

Elena’s POV

The afternoon brought news that sent ripples of anticipation through the packhouse. Our warriors had finally arrived, and I found myself standing at the front entrance alongside Damien, waiting to greet the reinforcements we desperately needed.

Word traveled fast in a werewolf pack. Within minutes, curious pack members began gathering around the packhouse, their eyes filled with a mixture of curiosity and skepticism. My jaw tightened as I surveyed the crowd. I recognized every face, and they recognized mine. The hostility radiating from them was palpable, matching the cold resentment that had settled in my chest years ago.

These people had turned their backs on me and my mother when my father died. They had made our lives miserable, forcing us to flee our home with nothing but the clothes on our backs. I would never forget their cruelty, and I certainly wouldn’t forgive it.

My hands clenched into fists at my sides. I was here for one purpose only to save the werewolf species from an ancient threat. Whether these ungrateful pack members lived or died was becoming increasingly irrelevant to me.

The weight of their stares pressed down on my shoulders like a physical burden. Part of me wanted to grab Damien’s hand and leave this place behind forever. But the nagging voice in my head reminded me that running would only put my new pack in danger. These creatures would eventually track me down, and innocent people would pay the price.

Damien’s arm slipped around my waist, his touch instantly grounding my frayed nerves. When I looked up at him, his warm smile conveyed a silent message of support and strength. He understood my struggle without needing words.

The rumble of engines announced the warriorsarrival. Dozens of vehicles pulled up in formation, and my chest swelled with pride as my pack members emerged. They moved with military precision, forming ranks before me and Damien with practiced efficiency.

Alpha, Luna.” Their unified voices rang out as they bared their necks in submission, showing the ultimate sign of respect.

It’s great to have you here,Damien replied, his authority evident in every word.

I stepped forward, my voice carrying across the assembled warriors. How is everything going at our pack?

Running smoothly, Luna. No incidents to report,” the lead warrior responded promptly.

I nodded, acutely aware of the stunned silence from the watching crowd. Their shock at witnessing such unwavering loyalty to me was almost amusing. My warriors paid no attention to the spectators, their focus solely on their leaders.

Marcus’s voice cut through the tension as he descended the packhouse steps. Where the hell are we supposed to house all these warriors?

We came prepared for field camping, another warrior replied, gesturing toward an empty field adjacent to the packhouse. That area looks ideal for establishing our base.

Marcus surveyed the unused land, unable to argue with the logical choice. Fine. Get yourselves situated and we’ll brief you shortly.

Yes, sir.

The warriors moved with practiced efficiency, unloading supplies and heading toward their designated camping area. I watched them go, a surge of affection warming my heart. These people had traveled hundreds of miles to fight alongside me.

Inside the packhouse, I grabbed an order form from the office and spread it across the kitchen counter, my pen moving rapidly across the paper.

What are you doing?Damien asked, peering over my shoulder.

Ordering enough food to feed an army,I replied without looking up.

Right. They’re probably starving after that long journey.

They came prepared with camping gear and basic supplies, but they’ll need proper meals if they’re going to be fighting for their lives,I said, my protective instincts flaring.

You don’t need to take on their care personally. You have enough responsibilities right now.

My eyes flashed. These warriors left their families and comfortable lives to answer my call for help. Feeding them properly is the absolute least I can do

Damien raised his hands in surrender. Alright, but we need to strategize soon.

They’ve been traveling for hours. They deserve time to rest and eat before we throw them into battle planning.” My tone brooked no argument.

After faxing the food order, we joined the warriors at their newly established campsite. Marcus arrived as I pulled out a photograph of the creature we’d captured. The warriorsfaces paled as they studied the image, disbelief written across their features.

This thing actually exists?one whispered.

Damien and I provided a crash course in vampire experimentation and supernatural evolution. The warriorsexpressions hardened with each detail, their hatred for vampires making the explanation easier to accept.

When Damien revealed that the creatures were specifically hunting me, the protective energy from the warriors intensified immediately. I outlined my plan to use myself as bait while they positioned themselves for capture.

The warriors exchanged uneasy glances, clearly uncomfortable with the strategy.

There was a suggestion to use a child as bait instead,I said carefully, my gaze sliding

toward Marcus.

The warriorsreaction was instantaneous and violent. Several stepped forward aggressively, their eyes flashing with barely contained rage.

Who suggested that?the lead warrior growled.

Marcus avoided eye contact, earning immediate suspicion and disgust from the assembled fighters.

Food delivery is scheduled for tomorrow,I said, changing the subject before violence could erupt. Do you have provisions for tonight?

We came prepared, Luna. We’ll manage fine.

Good. The packhouse is right there if you need anything. Don’t hesitate to mind link
