Chapter 160
Julie’s Point of View
My entire body went rigid as I looked at the debris scattered beneath my feet. A surge of tension shot through my limbs, and I was completely flustered, my words coming out stumbled: "I told you it was too heavy for me... now they’re all broken."
His voice was low and haunting as he stepped over the crystal shards, which let out a sharp crunching sound under his boots. "You broke all the statues," he said.
"It’s not my fault!" I tried to defend myself, clutching the fabric of my pink dress.
"It is your fault, Julie," he replied sternly, cornering me with a gaze that pierced through my defenses.
He moved closer until I felt the heat of his body overpowering the room’s chill. He leaned down to my eye level and hissed, sending a shiver down my spine: "Are you ready for your punishment?"
In that instant, my heart hammered with such frantic force I thought it would burst from my chest. He didn’t wait for an answer. He drew closer, pulling me toward him with a strength that pinned my body against his hard chest, then leaned in and devoured my lips in a long-awaited kiss.
I felt his kiss... the texture of his warm, dominant lips. It was like a dream I never wanted to wake up from. Can a person get drunk on a kiss? Because I did. Suddenly, I felt as if I were on a giant cloud, floating high in the sky, far away from this club, far from the fear and the secret walls.
Everything seemed beautiful, wonderful, and exhilarating. I closed my eyes and surrendered completely to my exploding emotions, wishing from the bottom of my heart that I would never have to come down.

Robert’s Point of View
What are these lips that make me forget my own name? They make me forget the Don, forget that my shipment is stolen they even make me forget that I could die today. She disables all my systems, my defenses, my precautions... everything becomes meaningless in her presence.
She is my only star in the middle of this pitch-black darkness.
I immersed myself in kissing her with every fiber of my being.
One hand encircled her slender waist, pulling her firmly against me, while the other rested behind her neck to keep her under my control. I drowned in her scent and her touch.
After a period I couldn’t measure, I pulled away with difficulty to catch my breath and let her find her own ragged gasps.
I quickly snatched my hand from her waist, trying to pull my icy mask and usual indifference back into place. "Now you know what the punishment will be for every mistake you make, Julie," I said, feigning unconcern.
She looked at me with dazed eyes and replied in a whisper that was barely audible, "Yes, I know... Can I go now?"
