Transmigrated to Raise Panther Cubs
Chapter 101 Small Wounds, Soft Hearts

Taylor, Caesar, and Logan stood off to the side with their heads down, looking dejected, not daring to come any closer.
Jaden walked past Zachary with the gray rabbit he’d hunted slung over his shoulder.
Zachary’s eyes lit up. “Jaden, did you catch that yourself?”
Jaden nodded.
“That’s impressive.” Zachary felt a surge of pride and reached out to ruffle Jaden’s hair.
It felt just like seeing his kid bring home a perfect test score–he was thrilled.
Taylor edged closer, cautious.
“What happened to your mouth?” Zachary spotted the cut on the boy’s lip right away. He crouched down to take a closer look.
Quincy knew his cubs well. Normally, even the smallest scrape would have them running over for comfort. But with Taylor acting like this, it was obvious–he’d done something wrong.
“Well? What happened?”
Taylor hesitated, mumbling under his breath.
Yael spoke up for him. “This brat led Caesar and Logan off to hunt a long–spined beast. Good thing we got there when we did. A little later and they’d have been full of holes.”
Quincy glanced at the other two cubs and bent down, his voice gentle. “Caesar, Logan, are you okay?”
They shook their heads.
Taylor muttered under his breath, clearly unhappy, “Sire, why didn’t you ask me?”
Quincy sighed. “Fine. Are you okay?”
Taylor shook his head. “I’m fine.”
Yael was speechless. He wondered how someone as fierce as him ended up with such a delicate little cub.
Taylor had aimed straight for the long–spined beast’s belly, but the moment his lips brushed those sharp quills, he slammed on the brakes. Instinct kicked in–he pulled back fast to save himself, but still ended up nicking his lip.
It wasn’t serious.
Still, for the next couple of days, anything hot or strongly flavored would sting like hell.
Zachary went back into the cave and brought out a handful of sugar candies, handing them out to the cubs.

“Thanks, Zachary!”
“That’s so sweet of you!”
“Whoa!”
The cubs held the candies carefully, turning them over in the sunlight again and again before finally popping them into their mouths, licking them gently.
Their eyes all lit up, sparkling with pure delight.
Taylor had been sulking just moments ago, but one tas
of
the candy instantly lifted his mood.
Caesar and Logan were the same–completely absorbed in their fruit candies, even forgetting the pain in their backsides.
Taylor squatted down beside them near a
rock.
Caesar and Logan asked timidly, “Are we… good now?”
“Yeah.” Taylor nodded seriously. “I forgive you.”
“Yay!” The two boys broke into grins and cheered. “Then, we can play together again!”
Taylor gave them a warning ahead of time. “But if you ever bully Jaden again, I’ll beat you up.”
They shook their heads quickly. “We won’t.”
They were honestly confused. In Taylor’s eyes, Jaden was the one getting bullied–but they were always the ones getting beaten up.
They couldn’t win against him at all.
That was how cubs friendships worked–fights came fast, and they passed just as quickly.
Matthew dragged the porcupine over by one leg and set it down beside a rock at the cave entrance.
Zachary walked over, but his gaze immediately landed on Matthew’s hand–several fresh cuts marked his
skin.
“What happened to your hand?” he asked, gently taking it in his own. His brows knit together. “Why are there so many cuts?”
Matthew let him hold it, making no move to pull away. “Got pricked by a long–spined beast.”
“That looks painful…” Zachary lowered his lashes, his expression falling.
“It” Matthew wanted to say it didn’t hurt, out of habit. But seeing the crease in Zachary’s brow, his words shifted mid–sentence. “It’s fine.”
Zachary said, “Go see the shaman later and get some medicine.”
The wounds weren’t deep, but there were so many of them–just looking at them made his chest tighten.

ace full of disdain..
Back when a wolf bit straight through Matthew’s shoulder, he hadn’t made a sound. And now he was acting like this.
“It hurts.” Yael mouthed at Matthew, teasing.
Still, as his brother, he didn’t call him out.
Matthew had suffered enough around Zachary in the past. If he wanted to act a little spoiled now, fine–a least someone cared.
Better than quietly treating his own wounds alone in some corner.
Kyle leaned over to Elias. “Who are you making clothes for?”
“Ethan.”
“They’re beautiful. You’re amazing, Elias.” Kyle’s face was filled with envy. “Having a brother must be great. Ethan’s so lucky. I wish I had one too. Or, if my Sire were still…”
Kyle shook his head and sighed, his expression turning wistful.
Elias felt a pang of sympathy. “If you want, I can make you a set too. It might take a little longer, though.”
Before he even finished speaking, Kyle looked up, stunned and overjoyed. “Really?”
“Yeah.” Elias patted his shoulder. “But you’ll have to provide the beast hide. I don’t have enough at home.” “Of course! Elias, what color do you think would suit me?” Kyle spread his arms, practically buzzing with excitement.
Elias thought it over seriously. “Gray. Maybe with a bit of white–it’d look better.”
“Got it. I’ll bring the beast hide over later. Thanks, Elias!”
“Mm.”
Worried that Matthew’s wounds might get infected, Zachary pulled him into the cave. He carefully cleaned the surface of each cut with water, his movements slow and gentle, almost painstakingly so.
