Transmigrated to Raise Panther Cubs
Chapter 287 A Family Portrait
In Jaden’s earliest memories, he believed that everyone washed their hair the same way he did. Only once, when Quincy washed both Taylor’s hair and Jaden’s, did he come to understand that his method wasn’t universal. It turned out that simply sitting still the whole time was possible.
Once Matthew finished scrubbing Jaden’s hair, he automatically moved to flip the boy over–bat stopped partway through his motion.
“Lean your head back a bit further. Keep your eyes tightly shut.”
“All right.”
After the bath, dusk hadn’t fully settled in yet. Since they were already wet, Matthew decided to run some swimming exercises with the young cub.
He picked up a random stick and tossed it into the river. “Fetch it.”

He mashed the cooked salted yolks and sautéed them until they became a thick, bubbling sauce. Then he added the bean curd, stirring carefully so every cube was fully coated in that rich, sandy yolk mixture.
Another excellent dish was the cabbage prepared with egg yolk. Zachary took the tender yellow heart leaves, sliced them into fine strips, and sautéed them until soft.
After that, he fried additional salted yolks until they began to bubble, mixed everything together, and added just a pinch of s

Chapter 247 A Family Portrait
Jaden Jeaned over the pot. “That smells incredible”
Zachary was searing the beef. He looked up and gave them a warm smile. Its almost ready”
Matthew rolled up his sleeves. “Let me give you a hand
“No need. It’s just about done”
The father and son wandered around the cave for a bit, then stopped in front of a stone wall. They squatter down side by side, leaving Zachary with the view of one large back and one small one
Zachary didn’t think much of it until the meal was ready. When he walked over to see what they were doing, he found Matthew and Jaden using charcoal sticks to write and draw on the wall.
Little by little, they had learned quite a few words, and Jaden had become genuinely skilled at drawing
On the wall were two black panthers and one lynx, drawn with surprising talent, sitting close together as posing for a family portrait.
Around them were several lines of text in different handwriting sizes:
“I love Sire.”
“I love Zachary,”
“Sire loves me.”
“Zachary loves me the most.”
It looked like a petty rivalry between children, each line trying to outdo the last. They had even argued over who would write in the center spot.
When Jaden tasted the salted egg yolk, his eyes went wide. He couldn’t put the flavor into words, but it was overwhelmingly delicious.
Matthew and Jaden shared similar tastes. Matthew asked Zachary whether he could prepare more of those eggs, saying they were exceptionally good.
Jaden added, “I’ll find more quacking–beast eggs.”
“Alright.” Zachary smiled and gave him a nod, serving them more food. “If you like them, go ahead and eat up.”
After dinner, Matthew went to wash the pots. Jaden curled up in Zachary’s lap, letting him stroke his ears and tail.
Zachary smiled as he held him, continuing the story he had begun the day before.
Jaden tilted his face upward, so comfortable that he forgot he was still in human form. He squinted and rubbed his cheek against Zachary’s palm.
Zachary’s heart melted completely. He cupped the boy’s face and planted a loud, smacking kiss on his
forehead.

Chapter 287 A Family Pothalt
Jaden pressed his lips together, his ice–blue eyes sparkling. He whispered Sire can I sleep with you tonight?”
Matthew’s hands paused over the sink. He turned to look at his mate–only to hear Zachary answer cheerfully, “Of course! I want to sleep with you too
Jaden avoided Matthew’s gaze, clinging to Zachary’s arm with a faint, smug smile
Matthew began scrubbing harder, the loud scraping noise echoing through the cave. Zachary noticed and blew him a kiss to soothe his mood, but Matthew was still sulking.
He quickly dried the stove and strode over to Jaden, clearly looking for something to criticize. “Put your ears and tail away. You’re shedding everywhere,”
Jaden had grown cleverer. He scooted even closer into Zachary’s arms. “I can’t put them away right now.
His expression was perfectly sincere.
Seeing such a well–behaved cub stirred Zachary’s paternal instincts to the fullest. Jaden doesn’t shed that much.”
“Sire, I’ll get up early tomorrow and sweep,” Jaden added.
“It’s fine, you don’t need to do the cleaning.” Zachary’s heart turned completely soft, wondering what he had done to deserve such a wonderful child.
