Transmigrate to Raise Panther Cubs

Chapter 335 The Snowfield Journey

By the time the ram season heat fully serin, Zachary finally understood how intense it could be. If he went outside while the sun was out, it felt like walking through a dry desert. Before long, he would be drenched in sweat, and his skin would turn red and hot.

The tribe handled all necessary work early in the morning or after sunset. During the rest of the day, everyone either stayed indoors or gathered around the shallow pools beneath the waterfall behind the mountain. There were caves dug out long ago and used specifically to escape the heat.

Alfred and Bruce happened to see the characters Jaden had written. They became very interested. After learning that Zachary had taught him, they immediately started discussing it with him. It didn’t take long for both of them to become completely fascinated by the written language.

From then on, a longlasting literacy movement swept through the Black Panther Tribe. Alfred set aside a large cave, had people move in plenty of tables and chairs, and gathered a large number of stone tablets and charcoal sticks. He even prepared a straight teaching pointer for Zachary.

Zachary never expected that one day he would become a teacher in another world.

The cubs sat properly in their seats. Many subtherians and therians also came to listen. Zachary felt a little nervous at first, but when he looked at the crowd and realized it was made up of black panthers of all sizes, he couldn’t help laughing.

Jaden and Matthew had already attended the family tutoring classes, so they were considered educated by the tribe’s standards. They quickly wrote several large characters, which amazed all the other studentsaround them.

On top of that, Zachary strongly believed in encouragementbased teaching. He often prepared different snacks to reward students who made progress. As a result, everyone’s enthusiasm for learning grew stronger and stronger.

Of course, there were some mischievous children, but they stayed within reasonable limits. Their parents were also very cooperative.

There was no pressure from college entrance exams. Zachary mainly taught literacy and basic math. Classes were held twice a day, and weekends were off. As time passed, everyone gradually learned quite a

bit.

Whenever Matthew finished his work, he would come and keep Zachary company. Sometimes he even acted like a school disciplinarian, checking to see whether any students were causing trouble and affecting his mate’s mood.

At sunset, the family of three slowly walked home together. The setting sun stretched their shadows into a long line from tallest to shortest. The blurred edges seemed to glow with a gentle golden light.

When the weather became especially hot, Zachary sometimes lost his appetite. He felt lazy all day and only ate a few pieces of fruit at noon. Matthew cooked meals for him and fed him bite by bite. He even brought water right to Zachary’s lips. Matthew looked completely happy taking care of him.

The potato and sweet potato harvests were plentiful. The wheat and rice harvested earlier had already been stored in the granary. The tribe also cleared several new hillside fields and traded with other tribes

for many different crop seeds. After planting them and waiting through several rainstorms, green sprouts soon appeared.

At first, Zachary worried the plants would die from the heat. Later, he gradually realized that the native plants here were much tougher than he had expected.

After finding some free time, Zachary cage up with many new things. He ground dried mushrooms and tiny dried shrimp into powder to make a natural flavor enhancer. He pressed peanuts, soybeans, and other crops into vegetable oil. He soaked, boiled, and mashed plant fibers to make primitive paper.

The Black Panther Tribe developed and improved at a pace that was easy to see. Everyone who traveled there from far away couldn’t help expressing their amazement. Even the entire Beast world was being influenced by these changes.

Whenever they had time, Matthew took Zachary and Jaden to the snowfields.

Gray, rocky mountains rose above the endless green landscape. White snow blended into the clear blue sky. Large clouds drifted slowly overhead. Freedom and open space stretched out before them.

The large black panther carried Zachary as he ran through the wind. The little black panther swished his tail back and forth while his fluffy ears bounced with every step.

The rock on the mountainside slope was still there.

The child who had once cried there had already grown into an adult. Zachary sat beside the rock, hugged his knees, and quietly looked at Matthew. Then he reached out his hand just as he had when he was little.

Matt.

Matthew bent down toward him.

Can’t find your way home?

Zachary shook his head. His eyes were full of laughter.

You are my home.”

Not far away, Jaden carried over a pile of branches and crouched down to start a fire. Two prepared long-

eared beasts rested beside him.

Zachary wanted to help, but Matthew wrapped his arms around his waist and refused to let him go. In the end, Zachary held his face and kissed him several times before Matthew finally let him go.

The family of three sat around the campfire. The most tender pieces of meat still went to Zachary, just as they always had, both in the past and now.

They stayed there for two days. After that, Matthew took Zachary and Jaden to the Snow Leopard Tribe, though they didn’t stay very long.

Snow leopards were simply too attractive in their animal forms, especially the snow leopard cubs. Every fluffy little ball of fur easily caught Zachary’s attention. One snow leopard therian even planned to confess his feelings to Zachary. After Matthew found out about it, he shut the idea down before it could even begin.
