Transmigrated to Raise Panther Cubs
Chapter 344 I Missed You So Much
“Sire, are we going to look for Alpha now Jaden asked.

“Yeah.” Zachary gave a small nod and, as they stepped onto the escalator, he held Jaden’s hand a little tighter. “Mind your footing.”
About thirty minutes later, they reached the zoo entrance. Zachary purchased two tickets through his phone and immediately guided Jaden toward the black panther area without stopping.
On the way, they passed enclosures filled with various animals. Each time Jaden spotted a large predator, his body instinctively stiffened and he edged closer to Zachary.
Zachary gently patted his head. “It’s fine. No need to be afraid. They can’t escape.”
Jaden looked up at him again. “Is Alpha really here?”
Zachary wasn’t certain himself. “We’ll check.”
The weather was hot, and the black panthers were scattered across their enclosure, lying lazily in whatever shade they could find.
Zachary approached the fence and called out, “Matthew?
“Matthew, are you there?
“Matthew?”
A nearby visitor glanced at the signboard and murmured in confusion, “There’s no black panther called Matthew here.”
Trying to draw attention, Zachary bought some raw meat and shook it toward the feeding hatch. “Hey! Come on out and eat!”
Jaden tugged his sleeve, his expression serious. “Sire, Alpha isn’t here.”
Zachary paused. “What?”
“I can’t sense his scent.”
At that moment, several black panthers that had approached suddenly let out low growls and all turned their eyes toward Jaden in unison, their heads tilted in confusion.
Jaden simply met their gazes without flinching.
With a sigh, Zachary pushed the meat through the slot, then straightened up. After that, he took Jaden on a quick round through the rest of the zoo before leaving.
By noon, the heat had become unbearable, so they slipped into a nearby dessert shop. Zachary got Jaden an ice cream and grabbed a fruit tea for himself.
While Jaden ate, Zachary scrolled through his phone, checking nearby restaurants- lunchtime had

arrived, and they still needed to get something proper to eat first.

A staff member walked over with a friendly smile and said, “We’ve just introduced a new ice cream flavor- would you like to try a sample?“.
Zachary glanced up and then asked Jaden for his opinion
Although Jaden had already finished his ice cream, he clearly still wanted more–he had even tried to slow down earlier so it would last longer.
The girl returned with small paper cups containing three different flavors. “Also, here are two handheld fans for you both.”
Jaden politely nodded. “Thank you, miss.”
“You’re welcome!”
After leaving the shop, Zachary brought Jaden to a large shopping mall. On the fourth floor, a row of restaurants stretched across the area, and Jaden quickly became fixated on a pizza place, enjoying every bite with bright, excited eyes.
Not finding Matthew left Zachary unusually quiet on the way back. Sensing it, Jaden kept deliberately asking questions, trying to pull him out of his thoughts.
At the supermarket, Zachary stocked up on seafood, meats, fruits, and vegetables. He also took Jaden through the snack and toy sections, which overwhelmed the boy completely–there was too much to choose from, and he ended up unable to decide on anything.
“If you like it, just take it,” Zachary told him.
They left with an excessive number of shopping bags. Fortunately, Jaden’s strength made the trip home manageable.
Once they were back, Zachary briefly considered posting a missing–person notice online. But the moment he unlocked his phone, a video caught his attention instead.
It showed a tall man sitting on stone steps beside a park path, one hand resting loosely on his bent knee, head slightly lowered. When he lifted his face, his gaze was sharp and piercing. ୮
As soon as Zachary saw the location tag, he sprang to his feet and grabbed his keys from the rack. “Jaden, we’re going to find your alpha.”
Having taken cabs and the subway all day, this was Jaden’s first time riding a bike. He held tightly around Zachary’s waist from behind, watching everything with curiosity.
The small green bike sped through the streets, matching Zachary’s urgency as closely as possible. He wished he could arrive instantly.
By sunset, the park was crowded with people. Yet Matthew’s presence stood out–cold and intimidating enough that passersby only dared to glance at him briefly.
After arriving in this world, Matthew had used fragments of his dream memories to locate the zoo. He waited at the entrance all afternoon, but Zachary never showed up. In the end, he set off to search for him,

only to get lost along the way. The area was unfamiliar, and he eventually got lost among the many paths.
“Matthew!” Zachary parked the bike and rushed forward the moment he spotted the familiar broad figure, with Jaden following closely behind.
Matthew lifted his head sharply. When he saw Zachary running toward him, he stared as if unable to believe it. The moment Zachary threw himself into his arms, Matthew’s expression softened–like a stray finally finding home, relief and grievance mixing together,
His strong arms wrapped tightly around Zachary’s waist as he buried his face against Zachary’s stomach, his voice rough. “You finally came.”
“I missed you so much.”
Zachary bent down, wiped the sweat from Matthew’s forehead, arfa pulled him into a close embrace. “I missed you too.
“Are you feeling hot?”
Jaden quietly opened his sling bag, took out a water bottle, twisted off the cap, and handed it over.
“Drink some water first,” Zachary said gently.
Only then did Matthew’s attention shift to Jaden. He paused, noticing Jaden’s new outfit. “When did you get here?”
Jaden zipped his bag shut. “Yesterday.”
