My Second Marriage with the Mafia Kingpin novel Chapter 480

Chapter 480: Dickless Ghost

Meanwhile...

"She still learned a lesson she’ll never forget. I made sure she witnessed something no child ever should." Addict laughed, his grin widening. "You know... showing her how women spread their legs while a man works his miracles."

Red lowered his head, his expression darkening as he listened to the man’s incessant yapping.

He wasn’t the only one.

The prisoners’ faces twisted with rage. Some ground their teeth so hard their jaws trembled. Others clasped their hands into fists until their shoulders shook.

They had met Ashley earlier. Had they not heard Addict’s story, they would’ve dismissed her as nothing more than a smiling psychopath—a woman who called herself a hero despite looking more like a villain.

Sure, she was skilled.

But she still seemed insane.

Nothing about Ashley told them she was normal. Obviously, she was not.

Now, they finally understood.

If Ashley had endured all of this, then it made perfect sense why she wanted this place burned to the ground.

She understood every prisoner’s pain.

Every prisoner’s hatred.

And why this place should disappear from the face of the earth.

"Oh, come on!" Addict cackled. "It wasn’t that bad. I’m sure she’d tell you herself that spreading those legs was just as wonderful as I told her. Wasn’t she moaning loudly while you were screwing her?"

Red’s tense shoulders slowly relaxed, and his clenched fist loosened. He lifted his head just enough to study the mocking smile plastered across Addict’s face.

"I’m sorry," he said quietly.

"Huh?" Addict leaned closer with exaggerated curiosity, cupping a hand behind his ear. "What was that?"

Red ignored him.

Instead, he looked at the prisoners.

The prisoners met his gaze, drew a deep breath, and nodded.

"Thank you," Old Fool whispered with a faint smile. "For letting us fight beside you."

"I was planning to eat some good meat tomorrow," another prisoner chuckled quietly. "Guess this is as far as I go."

He smiled at Red. "Eat some for us too."

"Make sure it’s premium grade," another muttered, earning a few tired chuckles. "I forgot the taste of meat, so eat a lot for us."

Old Fool smiled at his comrades before looking back at Red.

They had fought as hard as they could.

If Red made his move now, none of them would blame him.

The enemies would undoubtedly open fire the moment he did. Unlike Red, they weren’t skilled enough to survive unarmed.

But... they could still become his shield.

"Just promise us one thing," Old Fool muttered. "Kill these bastards. Don’t let a single one of them escape."

"Hey!" Addict barked. "What the hell are you all whispering about over there?!"

Red let out a quiet snort. A smirk tugged at the corner of his lips.

"Idiots," he muttered. Then he looked straight at Addict.

"I’m not the emotional type. I was sorry because... this is as far as you can help me."

"Huh?"

The prisoners frowned in confusion, only to see Red’s eyes gleamed with dangerous intent.

He ignored every rifle aimed at him. His focus remained fixed solely on Addict.

He drew a slow breath.

Then roared, "DUCK!"

The instant his voice echoed through the hallway, every prisoner instinctively threw themselves to the floor, covering their heads.

At the same time, Red kicked the rifle lying at his feet.

The weapon flipped into the air.

Within a heartbeat, it landed perfectly in his hands.

BANG! BANG!

BANG! BANG! BANG!
