My Stepbrother's Dirty Little Secret novel Chapter 360

Chapter 360

“They stayed still!” I sobbed, the words tumbling out of my mouth as I stared at the black tool in his hand. I was shaking so hard the metal chair was rattling against the floor. “They stayed still, I swear! Please, don’t-”

ZZZTT.

He pressed the prongs against my left thigh this time.

The shock hit me even harder. My whole frame seized up instantly, my head snapping back against the metal frame of the chair. Every single muscle in my body turned to stone as the electricity tore through me, making my arms and legs shake out of control against the tight leather bands. The pain was a hot, blinding fire that filled my brain until I couldn’t think, couldn’t feel, couldn’t do anything but shake.

When he finally pulled it back, my head dropped forward, my breath coming in ragged wheezes.

“You are lying to me,” he whispered.

He raised the black handle. He didn’t flip the switch yet. Instead, he lowered the metal prongs, sliding them slowly up the inside of my thigh. I flinched, my whole body shaking as I tried to pull away, but the leather straps held me perfectly still.

He didn’t stop as I struggled. He pushed the cold metal higher, right between my legs, pressing the prongs hard against the thin fabric of my underwear.

A horrific, choking wave of dread froze the air in my lungs. My heart hammered violently against my ribs, and I squeezed my eyes shut, a tear slipping down my cheek.

The doctor looked down at where the tool was resting, a sickening, wide smile pulling at his lips. He looked completely thrilled by my terror. He tilted his head, his thumb slowly brushing against the black power switch, ready to send the blinding fire straight into the most sensitive part of my body.

“I wonder,” he whispered, “I really do wonder if you will finally be fixed if I do this.”

The cold metal prongs bit harder into the sensitive skin between my legs, I sucked in a sharp, ragged breath, my entire body locking up in sheer terror.

But the shock didn’t come.

Instead, he just pushed down harder. The heavy black handle leaned into my skin, the blunt metal points digging deep.

“Would you look at that? The mere thought of the current makes your lazy little brain panic, doesn’t it? Tell me the truth now. Tell me you’ve been lying to me, or I will flip this switch for real.”

A quiet, choked sob escaped my throat, my chest heaving up and down.

“I’m lying!” I screamed, “I’m lying to you! The letters still jump! They still flip upside down! I can’t read them straight! I can’t do it! I lied about the scores. I memorized the lines before the test. Please… I’m a liar. Just take it away. Please take it away.”

I heaved for air, my chest shaking violently as I stared up at him through my blurred vision, begging with my eyes.

“Good girl, Gianna,” he whispered, “Honesty is the very first step toward a cure.”

ZZZTT.

A loud, blinding crack of blue electricity tore through me. The shock hit me right in the most sensitive,

unprotected center of my body. It wasn’t just pain, it was an absolute explosion of blinding, agonizing fire that shot straight into my core and ripped up through every single nerve in my spine.

Every muscle from my toes to my neck turned to solid stone, vibrating violently as the massive current dumped straight into me. The world went completely black and white, spinning out of control as the electricity cooked my nerves for three endless, agonizing seconds.

When he finally flipped the switch off and pulled the cold metal away, my body crashed back down into the chair. My legs fell wide apart again, trembling and shaking completely out of control. My chest was heaving in short, broken gasps, a thin line of spit running down my chin because I couldn’t even swallow.

“Excellent,” the doctor murmured, “The brain will remember that. We will try again next week, Gianna.”
