Chapter 424: Han Jinfu’s Excitement

When Yao Ran came out of the bathroom, Long Yu raised his eyes from the reports and said, "Ran Ran, you might want to see this."

Walking up to the bed, she sat beside him and took the report. After reading it, Yao Ran asked, with a hint of surprise in her voice, "When did you investigate all of this?"

"Before we left for the Juncheng Military Base, I asked A Qian to look into the location of The Ark's secret laboratories. I wasn't sure if things were the same now as in our previous lives, so I provided the locations of those secret laboratories to him, and he investigated them." Long Yu explained.

After listening to his explanation, Yao Ran nodded in understanding.

After reading the report, he said, "A Yu, I want to go to Luocheng City. Among these three locations, Luocheng City is the closest to us. If The Ark learns of our location and decides to do something to our members, then it will be going to be troublesome."

After reading the report, Long Yu already anticipated her decision. He nodded and said, "Alright. I also have something I need to investigate there. We will leave once the situation outside calms down."

With Fujiang Mountain still erupting and the world covered in eternal darkness, it was too dangerous for them to leave immediately.

Yao Ran pondered for a moment and agreed. "Alright."

After making their decision, Yao Ran said, "I'm going to give the Night Moss and Glowing Mushrooms to Uncle Han and then find Uncle Xu to discuss the device. You should get something to eat first."

Long Yu held her hand and said, "No rush. I still need to review the new members' information and discuss some things with A Qian and the others. Since we are leaving for Luocheng City, I will need to make some preparations beforehand."

Hearing this, Yao Ran remembered the warehouses and said, "A Yu, I filled up the last warehouse with supplies and stocked the ice room with meat. You can let them sort out the supplies. If we are still short on anything, I will prepare more later."

"Alright."

With that settled, the two of them left their bedroom.

Before meeting Xu Qipeng, Yao Ran went to find Han Jinfu. After asking around, she learned that he was teaching the new members how to farm in the mutant farmland outside. Putting on a mask, Yao Ran left the shelter.

After walking around the mutant farmland for a while, she finally found Han Jinfu in one of the Snow White Tube farms.

"Uncle Han," she greeted him with a smile.

Hearing her voice, Han Jinfu turned to look at her and smiled. "Miss Yao, what brings you here?"

Yao Ran walked up to him and replied, "I brought something new for you."

After finishing her business with Han Jinfu, Yao Ran returned to the shelter to find Xu Qipeng. By the time she located him in the meeting room, he and the others were in the middle of a discussion.

Yao Ran knocked on the transparent glass door and asked, "Uncle Xu, may I come in?"

Xu Qipeng turned to look at the glass door and said, "Xiao Ran, you are here. Please come in." With his permission, Yao Ran pushed open the door and stepped inside.

Seeing her, Xu Ruihan stood up and said, "Miss Yao, thank you for providing us with a place to stay."

Yao Ran nodded to him, took a seat in an empty chair, and replied, "It's the least I could do. I'm sorry I couldn't help you when the fallen meteorites hit the base."

Xu Ruihan shook his head. Then he sat down and said calmly, "That wasn't your fault. In such

a situation, it's understandable for everyone to prioritize their own safety. Besides, we had the resources and ability to leave the base ourselves."

Hearing this, Yao Ran smiled, then turned to Xu Qipeng. "Uncle Xu, I'm sorry to interrupt your meeting."

Xu Qipeng chuckled and replied, "No need to apologize. You came just in time while we were on break. Xiao Ran, do you need my help with something?"
