Chapter 594 An Excuse to Be Alone
She then glanced at Corvin without showing any emotion.
This guy is really good at starting conversations.
He didn’t get anything for himself, but he handed the chance to Edric and Kieran.
Corvin also felt annoyed. He hadn’t even said anything. Why did Emma question Edric and
Kieran but not ask me?
He was unhappy, so he ate two extra bowls of food.
After dinner, things gradually settled down.
Since Kieran was on dish duty today and was busy for the moment, he didn’t have time.
Emma grabbed Edric and ran off.
“Emma, slow down.” Edric watched her run and felt his heart skip a beat. He quickly stepped forward and pulled her into his arms. “You’re carrying the cubs now. You can’t run like that.”
“I asked Alaric. He said it’s fine. I can exercise freely. Light running isn’t a problem at all.”
Otherwise, Emma wouldn’t have dared to run like this. She pulled him along and took him to the castle rooftop.
From there, she could reach the stars Silas prepared for her just by stretching her hand. “There’s no one here now. Tell me. Why are you unhappy?”
“I’m not unhappy.” He looked at her and explained, “This afternoon, he said Marcus wants you to pet his fur. I just felt a bit regretful that I don’t have fur.”
He didn’t truly regret it since Corvin had already handed the chance right to him. If he didn’t use it, he would be letting Corvin down.
Emma stayed silent for a moment. How does he even know about this?
“So, that’s why.” She moved closer to him and gently pressed her finger against his abs. “Then, should I touch here instead?”
He stiffened slightly at her movement. His breathing grew a little faster, so he quickly grabbed her hand.

These past few days, he was close to going into his heat period, and he couldn’t handle this kind of teasing.
So I can’t touch his abs?
Emma wrapped her arms around his waist. “Then, should I touch your tail?”
He smiled and shook his head. He pulled her into his arms. “I don’t care about that. I just used this as an excuse. I wanted to spend some time alone with you.”
After speaking, he gently rubbed his cheek against her ear.
Since his heat period was close, he felt sensitive and more dependent on her than usual.
Edric, you feel kind of hot. Are you not feeling well?” Emma noticed something was off. He wasn’t usually like this.
“Yeah.” He nodded. “I’m a bit sensitive today. It’s nothing serious. I’ll get through it.”
She was carrying cubs and couldn’t really help him.
Emma hugged him back. She understood right away what was going on. “I get it.”
They stayed on the rooftop for a while. When the wind started to feel cold, he immediately took Emma back inside.
She still needed to find Kieran, so she said to him, “Go wait in my room. I have something else to tell you later.”
“Okay.”
He nodded. He watched her walk into Kieran’s room before turning and stepping into the floating elevator.
When Emma entered Kieran’s room, she saw a stretch of silver white beach.
Kieran had turned his room into an ocean.
The room was extremely large, like a small sea.
The seawater inside was specially transported from the real ocean.
“Ms. Tibarn, you’re here.”

Sensing Emma’s presence, Kieran leapt out of the water at once.
His pink fishtail shimmered faintly in the water and looked mysterious.

Emma walked toward him step by step. With his ability, she walked across the water as if it were solid ground. Her clothes stayed completely dry.
He reached out and held her hand.
He looked at her with excitement. This was the first time Emma had entered his room.
“Ms. Tibarn, do you want to see my palace?”
“Sure.”
Emma nodded. She hadn’t seen what his palace looked like yet.
He once said he carefully decorated it himself.
He blew a huge bubble that wrapped around both of them. Holding her hand, he led her down into the sea.
