Frank didn't look too pleased when he heard what Noelle said. It wasn't exactly a proud moment after all. Wyatt did not leave the house for the entire day because he felt extremely ashamed about the whole thing.

However, Donovan didn't seem to care. "The child is indeed Justin's. The Parham family won't be able to shirk their responsibility anymore.

"The kid's already been taken away by someone from the Parham family. At least we won't have to cover that illegitimate child's medical expenses anymore."

Blake added, "If you ask me, the Parham family should pay us back for all the medical bills for Xenia."

Noelle let out a cold laugh. "Weren't you all treating her like a treasure before?"

The room fell silent. Frank quickly changed the subject. "Noelle, I had the chef prepare your favorite dishes."

Noelle sat down on the couch. "Let's talk about business first. What did you get out of that lawyer?"

She did not come home to catch up with the Liddell family after all. She had come back solely to acquire more information.

Frank hesitated for a moment before answering, "It was nothing useful. I don't think the lawyer knows much. He was probably just someone who was hired to do the job."

Noelle looked at Frank as if she had expected this outcome all along. "He wouldn't have shown that look on his face at the funeral home if he really didn't know anything. He definitely knows something, but he just doesn't want to tell you."

She continued, "It's been so long, and still, you've gotten nothing useful from him. If he really did know something, whoever's behind this would've silenced him by now."

Frank was left speechless.

Donovan scoffed and said, "Noelle, is this how you talk to your older brothers? We've already tried our best. Do you think you could've gotten anything out of the lawyer?"

Noelle replied calmly, "Then stop wasting time and hand him over."

Frank grew anxious. "Noelle, the lawyer's family has already reported him missing to the police. If we don't send him back soon and instead hand him to you, things could get serious."
