It was obvious that Donovan and Salena were discussing something. Noelle had a suspicion.
Did Donovan sign an investment agreement with PZ Group? He didn't have much money in his hands, though. He couldn't possibly invest in anything.
Mike went onstage and talked about a three-year development plan for the company and painted a picture of the project's prospects overseas.
His speech drew a lot of attention. Maple Enterprise had a monopoly over the local market. But the overseas market was still up for grabs.
Donovan was PZ Group's only domestic partner and instantly became the center of attention. Many people gathered around, hoping to collaborate with the Liddell Corporation.
Salena was grinning from ear to ear at the crowd of people eager to work with them. She thought her cooperation with the Liddell family was going to fall through. Who would have expected the Liddell Corporation to be PZ Group's sole partner?
Noelle and Cedric observed from the side. However, there were still people who came over to greet Cedric and ask about potential cooperation.
Noelle whispered, "I'm going to get something to eat. You can handle the business talk."
She was hungry. After all, she had barely eaten anything during lunch because she had to get her hair and makeup done.
Noelle walked over to the food area and selected a few items she liked.
Soon, Salena and Laura walked over. The former smiled smugly. "Ms. Liddell, are you eating to distract yourself because you're worried?"
Laura sneered. "Noelle, why are you off in a corner eating instead of standing with Cedric? That's not how a good girlfriend acts."
Noelle looked at Laura. "If you're so good at being a supportive partner, how come no one's married you yet?"
