No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 733

Xenia's eyes widened in shock at Noelle's words.

She looked at Noelle as if she had seen a ghost. How did this bitch know her father wasn't dead? When did Noelle find out? And what exactly had she discovered?

Panic surged inside Xenia. Just moments ago, she had finally regained some control, but now she was knocked right back to square one. She was completely flustered.

Donovan's mind went blank, and he stared at Noelle in disbelief. "How could Xenia's father possibly still be alive?"

"Because I saw her meeting with her supposedly long-dead father in secret. And they've been in contact this whole time." Noelle turned to Xenia.

"Remember the time Blake beat you up and kicked you out of the car? You went to a cafe and met someone. Don't tell me you've forgotten who that person was."

Xenia trembled with fear. Noelle really knew. But since when?

Fear overtook her, and she collapsed onto the lawn, too afraid to say another word. What should she do now?

Frank pressed, "Is it true? Is Xenia's father still alive? Where is he?"

"He's in hiding. I've searched for a long time and still haven't found his location," Noelle said calmly.

Xenia suddenly shouted, "Noelle, you're lying! My father's been dead for years! You must've mistaken someone else for him! I haven't met with my father!"

Since Noelle hadn't found his whereabouts, she couldn't admit it now.

Xenia hadn't gotten away yet. She was doomed if the Liddell family found out her father was still alive.

Donovan turned to Noelle and demanded, "What else did you find?"

The staff mumbled, "But you told us to follow Ms. Quigley's instructions. That's why we didn't question her."

It was only then that Donovan remembered he had told them to listen to Xenia's instructions. But who would have thought she would betray him?

He hung up and turned to Xenia with a dark look. "Where's the money?"

Xenia was drenched in cold sweat. "I transferred the funds to the project head at PZ Group. He said the company could give me a rebate…"

That was all she could say now. She couldn't exactly admit that the money had gone to her father, right? If she did, the Liddells would never let her go.

Damn it! Xenia had planned for everything. But she never expected Noelle to know her father was still alive. It was no wonder Noelle had suddenly announced she was returning to the Liddell family around that time.

Back then, Xenia thought Noelle would come back to fight her over the inheritance. But now, it was clear Noelle had started to suspect her long ago.
