Noelle froze. How did Wyatt know that?

"Wyatt, shut your mouth!" Donovan immediately shouted at him. "How could you say that in front of Xenia?"

Donovan was furious.

Wyatt also realized he had said something he shouldn't have and tried to explain, "It's not like Xenia can leave the house. She can't contact her father even if she knew."

Xenia was stunned. She hadn't expected Noelle to have been lying to her this entire time!

A glimmer of hope took root within her. If her father hadn't actually been caught, then maybe he was still out there. Then, he would definitely find a way to rescue her.

But just as she showed a flicker of joy, Noelle raised her hand and slapped her.

Xenia's head spun from the blow. She screamed, "What are you doing, Noelle?"

Noelle stared at her coldly. "Were you just thinking that your father will save you if he's still out there?"

"I wasn't! Don't falsely accuse me!" Of course, Xenia wouldn't admit it. But Noelle's murderous glare terrified her. She clutched her stomach and feigned pain. "Wyatt, my stomach hurts so much."

As expected, Wyatt rushed over in panic. "Noelle, what are you trying to do? Are you trying to kill her?"

Noelle sneered. "So what if Xenia dies here? What are you going to do about it?"

"Are you insane?" Wyatt stared at her in shock. Noelle was nothing like the gentle, timid girl she used to be. She was terrifying.

Wyatt gasped. "Donovan, are you really going to let this slide?"

"I can't do anything anymore." Donovan smiled bitterly. He knew now how terribly wrong he had been these past years. If he wanted to get to the bottom of what really happened back then, he would have to rely on Noelle.

And more than that, he felt he owed her. So now, he didn't even consider going against her when it came to matters like these.

Noelle couldn't help but feel a twinge of irony at Donovan's words. But she also knew this was her moment. After all, she had come back to the Liddell residence for more important things.

She locked eyes with Xenia and said coldly, "You keep saying you knew nothing. But you hid the fact that your father had plastic surgery!"
