When Noelle returned to the classroom, Grace immediately asked, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. The Merlocks have enough to worry about right now. Samantha doesn't dare to do anything." Noelle didn't take Samantha's visit seriously.

But before heading to the police station, she had to be fully prepared for anything that might happen.

After class, Noelle went straight to the gym. She had agreed to meet there with the others.

When she entered, she noticed there were hardly any guests inside.

Jim came over. "Ms. Liddell, the place has been cleared out today. It's all yours."

Outside the gym hung a sign that read: "Renovation in progress. Reopening in a week."

After changing clothes, Noelle stepped into the boxing area, only to see two men in the ring going at each other.

It was Cedric and Eugene. And so far, it was hard to tell who had the upper hand.

Mia was sitting nearby, watching the match.

Noelle walked over and asked, "How long have they been at it?"

Mia hummed. "More than ten minutes, I think."

Noelle glanced up at the ring. "Your bodyguard's got a great body."

Eugene and Cedric were two completely different types of men. One was lean but muscular while the other had a powerful build.

Mia nodded. "He's okay, I guess."

"Just okay? Your bodyguard's not like those protein-shake guys. Those muscles of his are the real deal, earned from actual combat."

Noelle leaned in and teased, "Have you never touched it before? Just to see how it feels?"
