It was bound to be a sleepless night for many.
At the dorm, Noelle huddled up with Mia and Grace. The three of them whispered secrets under the covers.
Grace giggled and teased, "Honestly, you two are ridiculous. Noelle and Mr. Greene have been together for so long and still haven't gone all the way. But Mia hasn't made things official, yet she's already slept with Eugene."
Mia blushed and said nothing.
Noelle shot Grace a glance. "It's not like I've been with Cedric that long."
"Oh, come on. You two have known each other for ages, being more than friends but not quite lovers. That's the perfect stage in romance."
Noelle's cheeks flushed. "To be honest, I don't know how to deal with what's between us."
After all, the Greene family had never approved of their relationship.
Noelle had once witnessed Anastasia's strong disapproval. The elderly woman had pleaded with her from a hospital bed, and Noelle hadn't been able to say no.
But after everything that'd happened, she couldn't let go either. That was why she and Cedric kept their relationship a secret all this time.
Grace chimed in, "You two do have the guts to talk about timing in front of the guys. Bet you got a serious scolding, huh?"
Both Noelle and Mia blushed. The three ladies stayed up talking all night and eventually dozed off.
The next morning, Noelle woke up early. She had something important to take care of. Now that Xenia was safe, it was time to go to the cops and reinvestigate the car accident from years ago.
Mia groggily opened her eyes and asked, "Do you want me to come with you?"
