No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 946

Noelle thought it was simply unfair. She looked at the driver and said, "Stop the car."

But the driver didn't dare move, couldn't bring himself to stop. Seeing this, Noelle turned to Cedric furiously. "Let me go."

"Not possible. I won't let you leave." After hearing her words, Cedric's response was almost instinctive—he didn't want to let her go.

He hadn't dared to see Noelle for days, thinking their relationship might change after the trial ended. But when he saw Noelle with another man just now, his rationality instantly collapsed, and he couldn't think of anything else.

Noelle stared at Cedric. "What exactly do you want?"

"Us not breaking up."

Noelle laughed in anger. "Do you even hear what you're saying?"

Cedric's gaze was cold and clear. "I know exactly what I'm saying."

Noelle gritted her teeth and punched Cedric directly in the face. She used all her strength, hitting him with full force. Fueled by rage, she showed no mercy and even heard the sound of bone breaking.

The luxury car suddenly pulled over, and Noelle seized the opportunity to get out. She heard the driver's panicked voice behind her, "Mr. Greene, are you okay? You're bleeding!"

Noelle left without looking back, immediately hailing a cab and leaving. Sitting in the vehicle, she rubbed her hand, which was throbbing with pain. Yet, no physical pain could compare to the ache in her heart.

She thought that Cedric completely deserved it, and she didn't regret it one bit. Moreover, this move was something he had taught her to use against enemies.

She had learned it very carefully back then, never imagining the first person she'd use it on would be him—it was so ironic.

Noelle returned to her apartment. After entering the hallway, she saw the shoes he had once worn. At that moment, all the pain she had been holding back finally poured out. She crouched on the floor and cried for a long time until her tears ran dry.
