"Didn't you already buy Evelyn a horse at the stables?" Eleanor looked up at him.

Ian was slightly taken aback. "Not yet."

"I remember four years ago, when I was hospitalized with the virus, you and Vanessa took Evelyn riding," Eleanor asked directly.

Ian immediately understood. "Did Vanessa send you a picture?"

Eleanor looked away and admitted, "No. I had someone following you who secretly took the photos."

"I also know that Xavier got infected with the virus after taking care of you." Ian knew far more than Eleanor had imagined.

Eleanor was speechless.

Had he planted someone to watch her back then?

"I only went to see you after you fell asleep, and you mistook me for Joel—"
