Because of Zoey’s suggestive words, many reporters treated her carefully. Some even sounded flattering when they spoke to her.

Before long, another Bentley rolled up slowly.

A flash of irritation crossed his eyes. But with so many people watching, he said nothing.

After avoiding her hand, he walked around to the other side of the car and opened the door.

He bent down and held out his hand. When he spoke to the person inside, his cold edge softened at once.

“Don’t be nervous. Just stay with me,” he said gently.
