No Second Baby No You Only Divorce (Scarlett and Vincent) novel Chapter 677

Scarlett glanced over as well. Vincent stood tall and striking in the crowd, immediately drawing every eye in the room.

Beside him was Sabrina, dressed in a simple white gown that gave her an innocent, almost fragile appearance—like a delicate dove without a hint of edge.

Hand in hand, they made their way through the gathering, effortlessly holding everyone's attention.

As they drew closer, Vincent caught sight of Scarlett seated in her wheelchair.

His gaze swept past her, brief and indifferent, before turning away—as though she were no one he had ever known.

Sabrina, clinging to his arm, made no attempt to conceal her possessiveness.

It was as if she were announcing to the whole room that Vincent belonged to her alone.

Once Vincent led Sabrina further into the crowd, people quickly closed in around them.

"Mr. Stewart, Ms. Monroe—can I offer you a drink?"

"Mr. Stewart, your date is absolutely stunning. She looks like she just walked out of a painting."

"Ms. Monroe, I hear you're quite the pianist?"

"Ms. Monroe, how about a glass of champagne?"

"Mr. Stewart, you don't mind if your girlfriend joins us for a toast, do you?"

Voices overlapped as guests gathered around, filling the air with chatter and flattery.

Vincent kept Sabrina's hand firmly in his. Scanning the room, he smiled politely. "I'm afraid my girlfriend isn't feeling her best tonight, so she'll have to skip the drinks."

He openly referred to Sabrina as his girlfriend, his eyes softening with what looked like genuine affection.

Those nearby noticed how attentively Vincent treated her and couldn't resist chiming in with praise.

"Mr. Stewart, you're such a devoted partner."

"Really, the way you look out for her—it's admirable."

"Ms. Monroe, you're one lucky woman to have found a man like him."

"I wish I had what the two of you have."

The circle around Vincent and Sabrina grew, buzzing with nothing but compliments and well-wishes.

Claire stood behind Scarlett's wheelchair, watching the scene with barely contained irritation. Under her breath, she muttered, "What a pair. And these people—acting like they've never seen a couple before."

Scarlett caught Claire's grumbling and let out a light chuckle. "It's alright, Claire. That's all behind me now. Let them have their moment."

But Claire was still fuming. She clenched her fists, speaking through gritted teeth, "I just want to march over there, rip off their perfect little masks, and show everyone who they really are."

Claire preferred to stay out of the spotlight, so she and Scarlett settled in quietly near the rear.

After most guests had arrived, the evening's program officially began.

The host took the stage, first sharing some background about the platform's growth, then giving shout-outs to several standout creators.

Following the introductions came a series of live performances—all by talented users of the app.

There was singing, dancing, a bit of magic, even some comedy...

Soon the hall was alive with energy, applause breaking out every few minutes.

Scarlett wasn't really part of this world, but watching the acts, she felt like she was at some exclusive showcase—vibrant and full of life.

One familiar tune after another played, and the crowd couldn't help but sing along.

Scarlett found herself humming softly too. But when she glanced to her right, she was taken aback to see Vincent sitting only a few seats away, separated by just a couple of people.

As she looked over, his eyes met hers.

Their gazes held across the space, but unlike before, Scarlett felt no flutter in her chest.

Seeing him now, all she felt was a steady, unshaken calm.
