No Second Baby No You Only Divorce (Scarlett and Vincent) novel Chapter 687

Damian kept a firm grip on her hand, only tightening his hold when she tried to pull away.

Trapped, Scarlett spoke his name softly—almost pleadingly—without meaning to. "Damian..."

Hearing her voice like that was all it took for Damian to lose control. He drew her toward the bed until she was seated on the edge, then leaned into her, pressing her gently down against the mattress.

Hovering above her, he pinned her wrists beside her shoulders before lowering his mouth to hers.

The kiss was tender, almost reverent. His calloused fingers slipped beneath her shirt, traveling upward until they cupped the soft curve of her breast without hesitation.

Scarlett's body began to shift restlessly beneath him, soft whimpers escaping her lips—each one a little louder than the last. It was embarrassing, but under Damian's touch, she couldn't hold herself back.

"Damian, I..." she whispered against his mouth.

He broke the kiss only to trail his lips along her eyelids, the bridge of her nose, her cheekbones, and the line of her jaw. Between kisses, he murmured, "Do you want this?"

Seizing the moment, Scarlett tugged her hands free and covered her mouth, stifling the sounds she didn't want him to hear. Shame washed over her, and she stayed silent, avoiding his question.

Noticing her resistance, Damian gently pulled her hand away. He leaned close, his warm breath brushing her ear as he said hoarsely, "Just relax, baby."

But his words only made her tense up more.

With a low chuckle, Damian pushed himself up slightly. Seeing Scarlett lying there with her eyes tightly shut—as if bracing herself—amused him.

He lowered his head again, lips nearly touching her ear. "No matter what happens, I'm not going anywhere."

The unexpected reassurance made her realize he was answering the question she'd been too afraid to ask.

Her eyes fluttered open. Slowly, she wrapped both arms around his back and drew him closer, her voice thick with emotion. "Thank you, Damian."

He lifted his head, studying her face for a long moment before kissing the tears that had begun to trail down her temples. His thumb stroked her cheek gently. "Come spend Christmas with me. My mom has something she wants to give you."

The mention of the holiday reminded Scarlett that she was still legally married to Vincent. Instinctively, she shook her head. "Let's talk about it another time."

Damian's tone turned firm, leaving no room for argument. "Don't say no to me."
