Violet bent down, picked up the frozen water bottle from the ground, and threw it right back toward Luke.
"Get out."
Luke dodged it easily, but instead of leaving, he looked directly at Scarlett and sneered.
"If you really want to know what happened to Naomi, maybe you should ask your precious Damian what he's been doing behind your back."
Scarlett only looked surprised for a brief second before letting out a cold laugh.
"So this is what you came here for?" she said evenly. "Trying to turn me against Damian? If that's your plan, you should've come up with something smarter than this. The way you're acting right now only makes you look more pathetic."
After saying that, she grabbed Violet's arm gently. "Let's go inside. He can scream out here all he wants."
Luke clenched his fists so tightly his knuckles whitened. "You just wait," he shouted furiously. "All of you are going to regret this."
Meanwhile, at the hospital in Nebula City, Sabrina slowly regained consciousness.
The first thing she saw was the white ceiling above her.
The sharp scent of antiseptic lingered in the room, and within seconds, she realized she was in a hospital.
Memories from that night came flooding back immediately.
Several men had cornered her, taunting her with disgusting comments before trying to force themselves on her. She had begged them to stop, but when nothing worked, she finally jumped into the freezing water herself.
She genuinely thought she was going to die that night.
Carefully, Sabrina turned her head toward the side of the bed, assuming someone from her family would be sitting there beside her.
But the face she saw wasn't her family's.
It was Vincent.
For a moment, Sabrina completely stopped breathing.
She stared at him for several long seconds before finally believing he was really there.
"Vincent..."
Her voice came out painfully hoarse, rough and strained from everything she had been through.
The instant Vincent heard her speak, he immediately looked up.
His eyes reddened almost instantly as he grabbed her hand tightly. "Sabrina, how are you feeling? Are you okay?"
Sabrina still felt exhausted all over, so she only nodded weakly instead of speaking much. "Yeah."
The second he saw she was awake, Vincent stood immediately. "I'm getting the doctor."
A few minutes later, he returned with a physician who carefully checked Sabrina over before finally telling Vincent, "She's stable now. We just want to keep her here another couple of days for observation."
Only then did Vincent finally relax. "Alright. Thank you, doctor."
After the doctor left, Vincent lowered his eyes toward Sabrina again.
She was already looking at him too.
For several seconds, neither of them spoke.
"Vincent."
