No Second Baby No You Only Divorce (Scarlett and Vincent) novel Chapter 758

Vincent had already called ahead before coming home that day.

Even so, when they entered the house, only Luke and Xavier were there waiting in the living room.

Neither Richard nor Amanda had come back.

Vincent noticed immediately, and although a flicker of discomfort crossed his face, he chose not to say anything.

Instead, he stayed close to Sabrina the entire time, clearly worried she might feel awkward being there alone.

Xavier knew Vincent had arrived, but he never came out to greet them.

Luke was sitting in the living room too, but after watching Vincent follow Sabrina all the way toward the powder room like he couldn't bear letting her leave his sight for thirty seconds, Luke genuinely felt suffocated just watching it.

By the time lunch was served, Xavier and Luke finally sat down at the table.

Vincent took the seat directly beside Sabrina, close enough that it looked like he wanted to stay touching her at all times.

Xavier silently watched everything unfold without saying a word.

Across the table, Luke kept glancing toward Sabrina, disbelief obvious in his expression every single time.

It wasn't hard to guess why Vincent had brought everyone together today.

And if things really were what Luke feared they were...

Then what exactly was he supposed to do?

He had secretly loved Sabrina for years.

Was he really supposed to sit there and watch her become someone else's wife?

But even if he refused to accept it, what other choice did he have?

The kitchen staff had prepared a huge lunch spread, but Sabrina barely touched any of it.

Seeing that, Vincent and Vanessa kept adding food to her plate and refilling her drink.

Xavier sat at the head of the table with a cold expression the entire time, silent from beginning to end.

Once the meal was nearly over, Vincent finally reached beneath the table and took Sabrina's hand.

Then, still holding it tightly, he lifted their joined hands into view and looked directly at Xavier.

"Grandpa," he said calmly, "I want to marry Sabrina."

Xavier slowly raised his eyes toward him.

The determination on Vincent's face was impossible to miss.

A second later, Xavier pushed his chair back and stood up coldly.

"Come upstairs," he said. "I need to talk to you."

From beginning to end, Xavier had never once shown Sabrina any warmth.

Vincent stood and leaned closer to her first. "I'll be back in a minute."

Then he looked over at Luke and said, "Luke, make sure Sabrina's taken care of."

The words hit Luke instantly.

Taken care of?

That one sentence made everything painfully real.

For years, Scarlett had been the only woman tied to Vincent in that way, the only one everyone naturally saw as family.

But now, Vincent was standing there openly placing Sabrina in that position instead. And Sabrina was the woman Luke had secretly loved for years.
