He dried her carefully, then he carried her back to the room and tucked her in.

By the time he finished all that, dawn had already broken. Ethan leaned against t watching the sleeping woman, not blinking for a very long time.

Soon, it was 8 a.m.

Benjamin was basically a human alarm clock.

When he woke up and didn’t see any adults nearby, he rubbed his eyes and slid off the bed by himself, walking out barefoot.
