Ethan’s eyes were still fixed on the woman across from him. His voice was hoarse. “We’re playing a game.”

“What game? I wanna play too!”

Dawn shot Ethan a fierce look, then bent down and said, “He’s lying to you. We were clearly talking about work, okay? Work, you get it?”
