Benjamin couldn’t make sense of any of it. He grumbled and crawled closer, squeezing himself between them.

Dawn was exhausted. She rolled over sleepily and didn’t stir again.

Ethan was a light sleeper; he woke instantly.

Benjamin pushed so hard his little face flushed. “Move! I want to sleep next to Mommy!”
