**TITLE: A Message On Whatsapp 420**
**Chapter 420: My Future Sister-in-Law**
The elevator doors slid open with a soft ding, revealing the polished interior. Aella stepped forward, her mind racing with thoughts of the evening ahead, but just as she was about to enter, Peyton’s presence loomed large. With an air of arrogance, she raised her hand, effectively blocking Aella’s path.
The two girls collided, and in that moment, the doors began to close, sealing them off from the outside world. Aella, her temper flaring, pushed Peyton back with a forceful shove. “Peyton, are you out of your mind?” she snapped, her voice laced with indignation.
Peyton’s gaze traveled over Aella, her lips curling into a disdainful sneer. “Oh please, Aella. I know you were raised with a silver spoon in your mouth. But let’s be real—your family went bankrupt years ago. It must be hard adjusting from a life of luxury to barely scraping by. But honestly, you don’t belong here.”
Jenny, who had been lurking nearby, couldn’t help but chime in with a mocking giggle. “Look at her pathetic outfit, Peyton. She probably can’t even afford her rent! Maybe she should consider a job cleaning bathrooms or something equally fitting for her.”
The two girls exchanged glances, their eyes glinting with malice as they fed off each other’s cruelty. Aella felt her heart race, anger bubbling up inside her like a boiling pot.
In a moment of fierce resolve, she inhaled deeply, her breath steadying her resolve. Then, with swift defiance, she raised her hand and delivered a sharp slap to each of them—one for Peyton, one for Jenny.
Time seemed to freeze as they stood there, stunned and wide-eyed.
Peyton’s expression morphed into one of disbelief. “Aella, do you really think you’re still rich? How dare you lay a hand on me?”
Jenny’s face flushed a deep crimson, rage radiating from her. “Do you even know who I am? You’ll regret this!”
With a steely glare, Aella pointed at them, her voice cold as ice. “Keep talking, and you’ll find yourself on the receiving end of more slaps.”
In a moment of reckless bravado, Peyton and Jenny exchanged glances and lunged at her simultaneously.
Smack! Smack!
The sound of their slaps echoed through the air, louder and more resonant than before, sending both girls tumbling to the floor in shock.
Just then, Raine stepped forward, her presence commanding and fierce. “Who do you think you are, messing with Aella?” she demanded, her voice filled with authority.
Peyton and Jenny, sensing the shift in power, hesitated. The moment they recognized Raine, known for her fiery temper and fierce loyalty, their bravado deflated, and they slumped down in defeat.
Raine had a reputation in their social circle; no one dared to challenge her.
Aella cast a cool glance at the two girls, then pulled Raine close, calling out, “Virginia!”
As if on cue, the elevator doors opened once more, and Virginia stepped in with an air of elegance, her designer handbag draped over her shoulder. Without so much as a glance at the two girls still seated on the floor, she led Aella and Raine into the elevator.
Peyton, finally regaining her composure, scrambled to her feet, her mind racing. “Wasn’t that witch’s wedding to Mr. Tyrone called off? Why is she still so chummy with the Winters?”
Jenny leaned closer, her curiosity piqued. “Let’s follow them and find out what’s going on.”
They hurried to another elevator, desperate to catch up to Aella, Virginia, and Raine.
Meanwhile, Aella, Virginia, and Raine arrived at the birthday party, the atmosphere buzzing with excitement. Virginia made a beeline for Aella’s parents, her demeanor confident and poised.
